If you voted for Obama, we probably have philosophical differences and I'd hate to have to cancel out your vote every election! Lol. I am a professional from 8 to 5 and a total guy's girl outside of work. I'm educated, motivated, independent and super-cool to be with. I'm 5'11" and ***pounds - and I'm honest. I like reading, going to the movies, theater, symphony, concerts, country music, '70s and '80s rock, a bit of Linkin Park or newer music (blame my kids) and Monster Truck competitions (Vegas has the best one). I shoot primarily hand***rifle that is fun). I also occasionally enjoy hanging out at home with nothing better to do than watch TV. If I'm really bored, my cat will walk on a leash and we'll go to the park and torture the local dog population. He 'thinks' he's a dog, but THEY know he's a cat. For the non-believers, I posted a picture. :)I'm pretty low maintenance, but I'm not zero maintenance. I still need my door opened for me...I still like a gentleman to be a gentleman when it is appropriate. I really like to have my hand held in public and I'd like to think you're as proud to be with me as I am to be with you. :) And I would love it if you would escort that freaking scary spider out of the house! I'm a meat eater and that will not change. I also am Not likely to climb a 14-er with you or get on a bicycle. Those are activities that you'll have to do on your own or with your friends. I wouldn't mind taking up hiking with you if you promise to wait for me when I die from lack of oxygen the first few months...lol I'm fun, but not fun enough to kill myself for you! lol I'd love to find the right man to build a solid and lasting relationship which includes mutual respect. That means I'd like to feel valued in a relationship and I'd like for you to feel valued as well. I am obviously a straight-shooter and can communicate honestly with you. You can decide whether that's good or bad... I have two children who absolutely rock my world! They are the best kids ever and I love spending time with them and with my parents. We eat a lot of mexican food together and play cards late into the evening. One of my children lives with me and the other is off on an adventure. They are both taller than I am! :)And yes, while I'm not in any rush, I do want to be married again...sometime...with the right man. ABOUT YOU:You are my height or taller - I'm 5'11, so you should be at least that tall. I don't mind a few extra pounds on a man, but more than 30-ish is probably too much - you gotta love yourself at some point too! Besides, I could stand to lose 10 or so pounds myself. Bald is beautiful, wrinkles are gorgeous, and gray hair is a sign that you're old enough to contact me. :) I don't mind tattos but would hope none of yours would offend my mother. You like to open doors for me, you believe I'm your equal in every way (except for peeing standing up...or maybe growing facial hair) and you want to get to know someone well before you jump in bed with them. You don't drink much, you don't smoke or chew, you have a good relationship with your children, you've been married before and understand the commitment required.Are you ready for me? UPDATED ***: While I have met several nice men here, some that I have met seem to think that I want to date endlessly and/or be their friend or consultant, however, quite the opposite. Lately, I have come to realize that many men are stuck on this p.o.f. merry-go-round and don't know when to get off ... lots of options and always looking for one better. Nonetheless, should the right one come along, I would be more than willing to give it another try. With that said, I would like to meet someone that is open to getting to know one another without moving too quickly.
