Looking for: man. In age: 47-57
I enjoy classic rock; hanging out with friends; running; painting and writing. I love to read. I do not watch a lot of TV but enjoy watching shows/movies involving action and/or suspense. I like to entertain and love to cook. Like most adults, I have a very busy life with work, family/social obligations, etc. I am honest and open and believe that people should say what they mean and mean what they say. I do not have the time or the desire to play games and while the internet is a good way to make an introduction, I think that face to face communication is the best, so I have no interest in becoming a pen pal. I am looking to meet someone who is interesting, trustworthy and of good quality. If you don't have a photo, please do not contact me without sending a current one. Don't mean to sound harsh, but if you have no photo, I have no interest. going any place where we can talk and try to connect.

I love the beach when the weather is nice, sun sets are really nice on the beach. In the winter I love to ski and see the mountains. I would really like to meet someone who has similar interests, cooking, hanging out with family and friends. I have two older sons (over ***and a young son. So my match would really need to love kids and it would be great if he had kids also but not a must. I am looking for a family type of guy.. I love music...all kinds, rock, pop, country, - just not rap. I love animals, mostly dogs...I am an optimist and really enjoy life and will get up and go and have fun if it comes my way,, but I want to have that special person to have fun with and do things with. I love to laugh and enjoy simple things. Just a fun loving loving woman who really enjoys life and would love to meet a great guy. I know he is the right one when we just get each other and want to be with each other. I love to have adventures... antique stores, cute little restaurants, jet skiing, long walks just a few things I like to do.What would I like in a man? well, someone easy going, affectionate with a good sense of humor. I am not looking to rush into anything just take our time and really get to know each other and enjoy each others company, I would rather be cooking together in the kitchen than hanging in bars. I would love to meet the man who is my other half - I know this sounds corny but I think about growing old and I would like to have my friend and lover to be by my side... I would like to go somewhere where we could get to know each other and have some fun!

Unless you are a true lover of animals and nature, don't bother reading any further. ;)I am looking for a guy that has a kind and generous soul and would never miss the chance to help an animal in need!I know, that eliminates about 90%I could be on my way to the hospital bleeding profusely and would STILL stop and try to take care of an animal hit by a car! That's who I am, always have been, always will be! When it comes to environmental and health issues, I know and care much more than the average woman about stuff like salmon farms, global water shortage, Monsanto, over vaccinating both ourselves and our pets and I try like hell to live a responsible life style!I am looking for a rare type of guy. He may have hugged a tree, lead his troops into battle, run for office, gotten arrested for standing up for something, moved people to tears with his choice of words or simply has always been a good guy! The guy I'm looking for will admire my passion for making this world a better place, appreciate my ability to whip up a healthy and delicious meal, enjoy my humor, and look forward to coming home to see me : )I have selected "a few extra pounds" in who I would date on my profile but, I do mean A FEW!! I highly doubt that anyone that could stand to loose over 20 pounds will keep up with me. As to the 'drinking' question, I guess I would choose 'often'. I am neither a lush, nor an alcoholic though!!! As most Europeans, I do enjoy a glass of wine with dinner and maybe a few more with good company. ;)I don't watch a lot of TV but, I'm a bit of a documentary-junkie ;) Netflix and youtube have become serious enablers of that addiction! Youtube is really amazing! It just dawned on me the other day after running out of English canine behavior videos to watch..... that I could see what pops up in German! Found some really cool stuff!!! I don't really have a 'type'. You should be at least my height, reasonably fit (I'm certainly not athletic, myself) and attempting to live a healthy life-style.I'm not a true vegetarian, but I rarely eat meat for health as well as moral reasons.I LOVE to cook though and if I had more time (or help) I'd love to get most of my produce from my back yard! I don't care if you're inked, bald, missing an arm, which sports team you root for (I'm not into sports) but, I do care how you approach life and it's challenges and how you treat your fellow human beings, animals and the planet!I can swear like a truck driver (do they really swear? where did that come from?), but only when it's appropriate ; (Although he was so much more than a funny man!! His wit made him incredibly sexy!!Photos!!! I’m hoping to get some new ones, soon!!! As I am usually behind the camera, I have to ask for assistance. I haven’t changed much, my hair is a little longer these days and if you meet me you will see that I do look like my picture! I don’t understand why people use pictures that no longer look like them. I wouldn’t want to meet you and read “Wow, what the hell happened?” on your face!! Or even hear it come out of your mouth! LOL!Since I adopted my twice pre-owned Border Collie, I have read a ton of books about training and behavior and watched hours of video’s and documentaries, etc. We have both grown so much and I can’t believe how little I knew back then!!! I thought I was a pretty good dog owner, boy was I clueless!!!If you have a dog(s) yourself, it may be a little difficult to socialize them so you have to be up for the challenge! My dog is ‘fear reactive’ as she has been attacked by other dogs but, with responsible guidance it is beautiful to watch dogs overcome challenges and eventually get along as if nothing ever happened! There is so much we can learn from them! They really are amazing creatures!!I am hoping to get into training dogs professionally in the future and if I get good enough.... I'd love to specialize in dogs with aggression issues.Have you dreamed of finding the woman who will never say “It’s me or the dog!!” or “You love that dog more than me!”? If you are who I’m looking for you will agree that those are stupid statements!I won’t care if you forget my birthday, as long as you don’t forget to take the dogs out. I don’t care what kind of car we drive as long as the dogs can come along! I don’t care about status symbols, but how we affect the world around us and each other!Best of luck to all!!Cheers!! ;)P.S.: I don't understand that 'meet me' function, so if you are interested, please send me an e-mail!!
