About Me

My friends would say I'm nice, sweet even. I try very hard to be considerate of others, and treat them as I would like to be treated.I love music (all genres except rap). I always have a radio, or CD playing in my home or car. I like to dance in the kitchen :) A partner to dance with, would make me look less silly :)I absolutely LOVE my 4 large dogs, If you don't care for dogs, then I'm not the woman for you. They are absolutely part of my "package" I believe a pet is a lifelong responsibility. Yes they do tie me down somewhat, so keep that in mind before you contact me. If you are willing to spend time at my house, or allow my dogs at yours it will make having a relationship easier, as I can't leave them ***.I like a lot of our Canadian music- The Trews, Finger Eleven etc, but find myself appreciating some new country too. I'm not a tv junkie, but do enjoy a good movie, as well as some AMC and HBO series. I like to get outside, go for walks, go swimming, and am a good passenger if you're an experienced motorcycle rider. I am NOT a fan of the cold weather. When there is snow on the ground, you will find me inside curled up with a dog...or 4 lol.I like to write, but seldom find the time to do much. I know the difference between to-two and too, as well as there-their and they're.I have a great network of supportive family and friends, and am confident and comfortable on my own, but want to fall in love again. I have a great job, and a good work ethic. Thats the good news. The bad news is that I work every weekend. Sorry, its just my life :) All that said, I DO want to find the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. I Do want to be treated like a lady, not a tramp, and I DO want to find the man who, when I find him, makes me wonder how I ever lived without him. Obviously someplace public. I'm not opposed to Timmies, but not limited to Timmies either. I'm pretty easy going. If you have a favorite little greasy spoon, thats cool. Wallking around a zoo (reptile or furry doesn't matter), mini-golf (does anybody still do that?), ice cream and chat in a park. Like I said I'm pretty easy to get along with.

    I have returned to college and am going for Bachelors in Human Service and Mental Health field.     I moved from a large city about 10 years ago and built my house. It is a passive solar design and I heat mainly with wood. I now have a small farm and love it (ok well most of it...who actually loves mucking our pens?????). I am a bit of a tree hugger but not fanatical. For hobbies, I love horse back riding (recently got a horse), rock hounding, tanning (hides not my skin) and making native american styled crafts. I love the out doors but do NOT camp. Long story, you can ask me bout it...*grin*. I am not your typical girly girl. I don't like to shop, can handle power tools, and it doesn't take me a year to get ready to leave the house. That said i am a bit of a romantic and don't mind having a door help open for me. I am looking to enjoy someones company. If something more long term comes of it then I am open to that. Let's start a conversation and see how it goes. I think on here, first dates would be better described as a first encounter/meeting. Someplace low key where conversation can easily happen. After that...then a first date if we wish.

    I'm pretty genuine. I was raised on a farm and taught good morals, honesty is best and most of all to be happy. I like to laugh and I try to find the good in everything or everybody. I love my family. Family & friends are very important to me. My son is 22 and my daughter is 20 and I love them both very much. My daughter lives with me and we've had a big adjustment since the loss of their dad. Being single and widowed at 42 yrs. old was not exactly what I had in mind for myself, but God had different plans.
