Hi! I am at a fun stage in my life and I am excited about meeting the right person to share it with. My two teens have grown to ages where they are more independent and we spend more time planning fun events and laughing plenty. They are well adjusted and also enjoy spending time with their father. I have a professional career and a photography business on the side, as my other passion. I want to travel more as my thirst for experiencing different cultures increases, and I generally just love to travel. I love meeting new people and enjoying the relationships that I have with family and friends. I'd like to find someone who is at a similar stage in their life with interests that may intersect with mine or stimulate me with their differences. At this point in my life, I am not looking for someone who is seeking to build a family nor who is in the early stages of raising them. I am looking for someone who is established in their career and has a good foundation in life which will allow them the freedom to travel to exotic destinations, weekend getaways and to ski, play and explore. Although I am not a closed-minded person (and I don't quite like reading profiles where others line-list what they do not want), I really am certain about the type of relationship I am seeking and therefore feel it's necessary to mention a few. Although I love movies, I almost never watch television. I am all about life experiences. I know this may be quite direct, but really I'd rather be upfront and connect with someone where we will both find compatibility. I appreciate intelligence and a positive, outgoing personality.I'm interested in dating someone in the age range of ***. Please don't contact me if you are younger or older than that range. Here are just a few of my favourite things: photography, the beach, downhill skiing, sexual attraction, travel, snorkeling, exchanging smiles, speaking French, animals, snuggling in bed on a Sunday morning, green tea, cottaging, trying something new, flirting on a date, being spontaneous, laughing, a great kiss... I love new experiences and am open to trying anything (except maybe parachuting)!J'adore le francais, et si tu le parles, c'est mieux!I keep pretty busy, so I'd rather meet someone who lives in the same city with a similar lifestyle. **Please don't take the time to message me if you live outside of the GTA as I am not open to long distance relationships.p.s. If my profile shows online it does not mean I am in front of my computer so please do not think I'm rude and *** I am not online often and do not make meetville a priority. If you message me and I don't respond it is nothing personal, I just don't feel we would be a good match.

I've been single a while and don't do much dating. I am a full time student right now, as well as a single mother, so I am often busy. However, I'm ready to meet someone serious and I am not looking to just do the 'hook up' thing. I was in the Navy, 6 yrs. I'm old school punk at heart, back in the day-day. And a hippy-liberal politically active person to this day. I am from SoCal, moved here with my ex husband to raise our sons - they are ***twins) now. I also have 4 year old son that I raise alone. I have a pretty wicked sense of humor and adore dry wit. I love watching horror comedies & super bad SyFy movies for a laugh. More fun facts about me:I love how flies rub their hands together like tiny little criminals planning something maniacal.-woo'd by his peers, but it had staying power so who's laughing now?If I could get a degree is song lyrics I'd have had a Ph.D a long time ago.I once got 35 pages into writing my autobiography when I realized I was just typing the lyrics to Licensed to Ill over and over.I get a rush of pride when my password is deemed “Very Secure”I put my pants on just like everybody else, begrudgingly. One of the main problems with online dating is the fear that one day I will be part of a Dateline segment.I think the copyrights to the slogan “Just Do It” I do not now, nor have I ever, owned a stick with glitter water on my key chain. If the main ingredient in Saffron Tea was the tears of Burmese Child Laborers I'd still drink it.Far too often I use “the” before nouns in my sentences. And, people laugh... although my intent isn't to be funny. OK on a serious note, my friend said I need to say what I am looking for in someone. I can see how this might be helpful but seems a bit “demandy” doesn't it? In my perfect world with my perfect man (keeping the pressure at rock bottom, I know, I know) He would be faithful & honest. I get that people's eyes and minds stray but really that is all that should, don't 'cha agree? He would be smart and I would learn cool sh*t just by listening to him talking everyday talk, but he wouldn't make me feel stupid because I didn't already know it. Because there is a lot I don't know and I don't think I could handle it being pointed out all the time.He would read to me or read with me. Perhaps even the novel he is working on. He can make me laugh even when I'm mad. He laughs with me and maybe even at me, sometimes. How did I do? FYI - the men in my photographs are not boyfriends, they are family members. Would be weird if I had my ex's photos on a dating web site wouldn't it?
