Warm weather agrees with me. I like to be outside for cycling and tennis. The ride definitely pushed me to work on hill rides. Whew! I finished up the trip with a few days on the beac in Croatia. It was great! I updated the photos in my profile to include many recent photos from this trip.My tennis game is pretty mediocre, but I have been threatening to improve it for years. I love to watch tennis too. Unfortunately, watching the pros has not helped my game at all. I need good conversation in my life. I am looking for someone who also enjoys a good discussion, some banter, and alternative points of view. I am interested in social issues, sports, local politics, celebrity gossip, and life's daily grind. I can be chatty. I am often sarcastic. And, I am opinionated, but I like to have my opinions challenged. There's always room for change. When relaxing, I enjoy the movies, especially independent films. I like to watch football and bad reality tv. I like pop, alternative, rock, and R&B music. I saw Train for the second time this summer - definitely a favorite of mine! I am also a person who needs time alone. I am an "I" I need some personal time each week to relax and rejuvenate.I grew up in LA.... I am an original "valley girl" Fer Sure! I graduated from Cal... Go Bears! Although I really, really miss being close to the beach, DC is much more my speed. Short and sweet. Let's make the first meeting simple. A cup of coffee or a glass of wine is great for a meet up and a little conversation. If the first date goes well, we can plan something fun for our second date.

    Hi! I am a professional writer, ***with an athletic build - I've played sports my whole life. So...loving sports is a must for me. :) I adore animals (also a must) and foster rescue dogs. I have my own house and a solid career. Though I've had several longterm relationships, none have ended in marriage, usually because of distance ***moves for a job, etc. I don't think I was ready then, but I am now. Regarding kids, my profile says "undecided" but that's not true - I would love kids, definitely to adopt. But if you have kids and do not want more that's OK too. At age 40 I understand I am probably not going to have kids via the traditional route if at all - I believe a relationship with your partner must absolutely come first before children should even be considered.My career goal is to continue writing and be self-supportive; I'm very good with money and financing. This helps as I like to travel (who doesn't?) and scuba dive.I think what makes me unique is I am extremely passionate and have been told I have a "childlike" response to life. I like that. It's important to have enthusiasm for life. I am easily entertained and can find fun in mundane activities. People tell me I am funny. As for flaws, I am definitely not a patient person (traffic, etc.), and I tend to overload myself until I get stressed out. That's when someone cool comes in to tell me it's going to be OK. :) Finally, it says to mention music ***Coffee/quick drinks are good for a first meeting (please call, texting is too disconnected). Would love to have a nice dinner outside somewhere, followed by some live music. Would also be fun to meet with our dogs in a park somewhere and have a picnic. This would also make my dog very happy. :)
