About Me

So here I go again! Moving on after a 3 year relationship. I am going to ease into this dating thing once again. Just in case you wont read on - please note I am 5 foot 10 inches tall. I prefer to date tall men who are at least my height.My friends would describe me as outgoing, kind and caring. I have a 13 year old son who lives with me full time. I am emotional and financially stable (LOL). I am settled in my career. I enjoy home renovations and decorating. I love the outdoors - tent camping, hiking, paddling. The fall is my favourite time of the year. I love walking on a trail and listening to the leaves underfoot. I would like to say I am a good communicator but clearly writing a few lines about oneself can be challenging. Being able to communicate and open (once some trust is established) to a greater emotional intimacy is really key to winning my heart. A good sense of humour doesn't hurt either. I do enjoy witty banter. I guess what I would like you to know is I'm a passionate person (not talking about sexual passion at this moment - but not denying that with the right person***talking about passion for life - commitment to the people or causes I care about. I want to look at the world with excitement and try new adventures - now I may need some coaxing when it come to heights but being with a partner I trust and connect with I can overcome just about any fear. Maybe that is really the key to life - Finding someone who loves us just as we are but inspires us to be even more. I know that I am only truly happy when I can be myself. So I will not be putting on any acts or pretend to be someone I'm not.I'm romantic by nature - I like holding hands and playful teasing. I like public displays of affection (well not the type we could receive compensation for in the seedier parts of town). I am looking for a connection - both physical and emotional. I want closeness but not clingy. I think couples are most satisfied when they maintain a true sense of themselves. So guys enjoys boys night - or a play hockey - just come home to me - LOLI am not looking for a long term relationship right now. It would be nice to meet someone that makes me change my mind about that but I am happy to meet new people and enjoy each others company with no pressure. A committed dating relationship would suit me just fine with the right guy.As for physical appearance - I am 5 foot 10 inches tall and would prefer to date someone my height or taller. I am blonde and right now my hair is about to my shoulder. My figure is curvy (hourglass) and I have some extra pounds that I am working on losing. If that bothers you we would not be a good match. I do go to the gym a couple days a week and enjoy hot yoga. I would love to find someone who enjoys spending time outdoors or being active in general. I believe in chemistry but I do not have a "type". I agree that physical attraction is important. A nice smile goes a long way. I would like someone who shares my interests and has a positive outlook. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important. I am not much of a drinker and I try to eat right.
