Who am I? Well, I guess to start I am a single mother of an 13 year old boy. He is the light of my life and I am really lucky to have such a wonderful child. I am a career oriented woman, but I work hard so that I can play hard. I have some challenges over the years that have helped me to define what is really important, family and friends. I have always looked at life with a half glass full mentality, and find it easier now more than ever to find the positives in all situations. I like to have fun and laugh and would love to find that special someone who wants to "be a witness" to my life. I think that is the hardest part about being single, not having someone to share good news with. I am an independant woman but that doesnt mean that I dont appreicate a gentleman and would love to be taken care of from time to time. I am looking for a relationship that has long term possibilities. Marriage? Maybe, but I am not in any hurry. I am just looking for someone to enhance the great life I already have. Beer and a burger, red wine and filet, casinos and poker games, working out and 5k's, cards games and board games, fires in the fire place or in my back yard, football games and concerts, washers and bags, I love it all including "deep talks" when I can really get to know someone and find out what makes them tick.     Is it really that much to ask? I don't really care if you can lift things up and put them down. Good for you, and how proud you must be!     I'd like to think I'm a pretty laid back person. I go with the idea, life's too short not to be happy. I spend most days at the beach. It's my church and therapy.     Just dipping my toes in to what's out here.Took some time off to explore.I am a very confident/independent woman and know what I like and want.
