Wondering what my headline means? Well, I hope to visit the 50 states by my 50th birthday. You ready for a road trip?It seems as if everyone writes the same things here... I love going out to dinner, the beach in the summer, a night in just as much as a night out. I cherish my friends and family and nothing is better than being together with some food and wine. I love the ocean and dream of a day that I have a place near the beach. I love the arts....in all forms; theatre, music, literature, visual. I also enjoy working out, though my schedule these days does not allow me to be as committed as I once was...I try. I have played on a co-ed Volleyball league for over 10 years. I also love to cook and entertain...even if it just for a small group of friends.I have a young daughter, who is the world to me, so I need someone that understands (and respects) what it means to be the primary caregiver to a young child.I am not here to play games, just get to know someone to see if there is any chemistry.     This is me in a nutshell and my serious side. I'm a pretty laid back, mellow and patient person. I am a good person that has a ton of good qualities to share with the right guy. I tend to stick to my comfort zones and need someone who isn't afraid to gently push me out from time to time. Forensic and detective things facinate me.Music varies from one end of the spectrum to the other.; I like to laugh and have a good time. I can be very silly and think of myself as a huge dork sometimes. I can be very sarcastic and if you have to think twice about what I said, I was probably joking.I prefer punk but like listening to all types of music (some too embarrassing to say on here), small bars or clubs to see bands with friends, bike riding, bowling, reading, pool/darts, sitting by a fire or out on the deck having a drink and discussing the days events.I am looking for someone who is man enough to show their emotions and affection. I want someone who will treat me like a girl should be treated, and not just for the first couple months. I know chivalry isn't dead, just in a coma most of the time..........You can expect to receive from me the same treatment you give to me.I believe in karma and that things happen for a reason and that life is short and you should do what makes you happy. I also believe everyone comes into your life for a reason and you should take things from those experiences and apply them in your life to make yourself a better person. At this point in my life and what I have been through I know exactly what I will and won't put up with. Feel free to message me if YOU ACTUALLY READ my profile and think we may legitimately have things in common, you don't wear makeup except at Halloween, don't paint your nails, you don't have an empty profile, you can say more than 'Hi, I like your profile" in your message to me (have some substance or ask a question), don't have pictures of yourself with no shirt on in your profile, you have a job and a vehicle, you don't live with your parents (unless they are old or sick and you're taking care of them), you don't have more pictures of your pets than yourself, there is more but that's enough for now. Please don't waste my time and your energy typing me some BS, I'm not being a **** or high maintenance, I just know what I like and what I don't. Have a nice day!
