Hello!! Not sure I'm ready to dive in but I'm testing the water out!! I'd love to eventually settle down and get married, but right now hoping to take things slow, get to know you and possibly have some fun! Been feeling a little deprived lately and really appreciate all the little things in life. I was telling a coworker the other day I haven't been to a movie since last summer and its been months since I last stepped foot into a nice restaurant. I have my hands full at the moment and have a busy life. But I think there is always room for the possibility of meeting someone special and spending time together. I'm out of a four year relationship and am a newly single mom of a very special little boy. Just moved into a beautiful townhouse and am enjoying looking for new decor and ways to make this place a cozy home for myself and my son. I have a good job that I have been at for the past fifteen years. Life right now is about new beginnings. I don't need to find a man to support me financially or find a father for my son, as he has one that loves him lots. But it would be nice to have companionship, good conversation, someone to go do fun stuff with!! My life the past few years has been filled with a lot of hardships and I'm thinking I may be overdue for some good things to come along! I used to snow ski, cross country with family and downhill with friends. I cried when my parents sold their boat years ago because it meant no more water skiing. I also grew up tent camping with family and loved it, but haven't done much of that since I was in my twenties. I've swam with sting rays and went sky diving once with four other brave ladies from my work. I hope to add swimming with Dolphins to my list and would love to visit somewhere tropical again. And I absolutely can't wait to do some of those great 'firsts' with my son like taking him to the Zoo and The children's museum. Hopefully we will get to go to Disneyland and do all the exciting rides! Right now I spend a lot of my free time reading and watching movies. I have very diverse interests but fantasy and science fiction is up at the top. My health and my son's health is my current priority and so we have to enjoy the little things like stroller rides in the park and quiet moments at home. I've been through a slew of health problems and my son is currently a frequent visitor at Doernbecher's Children Hospital. I'm learning to be a very positive and hopeful individual through this experience. My faith is important to me and gets me through the hard times. My son is the best thing to happen to me so far in my life and I love being a new mother. Update: Finally went to movies!...but World War Z was better! Added a cleavage shot, I have extra pounds but not without appeal! Wanting to meet someone who is smart and likes some of the same stuff I do. Life got suddenly more stressful and I would like to go out and have some fun. A short first date is preferable, to see if there is chemistry or not. This means a coffee date or just drinks. Dinner out would be a second date. It's all about the conversation and what we have in common. If we hit it off, we could combine the 1st and 2nd date. :). Movies are fun but not until later, because you can't talk and get to know someone.

Well, i took my profile off for a bit... but it turns out things werent as i thought they were, so here i am again... Lol. HONESTY IS KEY! I'm looking for a friend first. You cant get the butterflies and fireworks without that. I want to find someone to hang out and watch goofy movies with, yet can have an intellectual conversation. Simple things are my favorite, but the ability to accommodate other situations is a must. LOL. I love college football. I have favorites... but a td at the end of a 96 yard punt will make me scream. I love to read and I'm rarely serious... See first line of this profile. (: I'm not a fan of writing autobiographies...***EDIT***So, one would assume this wouldn't need to be said, but here's some automatic deal breakers:1. Married. 2. Most of your coworkers are in college or hs. (grow up and get a big boy job)3. Obvious form letter style msgs, "hi", or any other clear indications that you didn't take the time to read my profile. If you can't think of anything to say. .. Say that. Lmao!4. Requests for nude photos, or requests for permission to send your nude photos to me. 5. Anyone who isn't local. If you drive hours to meet me for coffee... I really must question your sanity. Lol.6. DISHONESTY! Not really a first date, but a meeting for coffee or a walk in the park. Talk and get to know one another and decide if we want to go on a first date.

I really hate this part of setting up your profile.... I never know what to say about myself without sounding like , well, an idiot. So here goes nothing...I'm very outgoing, love to talk to people, and meet new people. i speak my mind, i'm sarcastic, smart ass lol. But I like to sit back and have one on ones too. I like to hang out, go to concerts, go camping, being outdoors, cooking, movies, dining out, going into the city, theater, Museums,.gambler) getting take out and relaxing at home, spend time with loved one......i'm usually up for anythingThere's a few "must do's before I die" type things that I have, so I guess I aspire to complete most if not all by some point in life. First on my list is skydiving... I've been wanting to do that forever. Wouldn't mind going for a overnight hike somewhere, and doing some rafting. Or go on a ghost hunt. Fly in a helicopter. Try surfing, whale watching, Swim with sharks, travel abroad, and of course, maybe find love someday. You know, all the normal things that every girl wantsI'd like to find a guy who likes to laugh, and have a good time, and enjoy life.I'm a big hearted, fun loving, smart ass...lol. But I can be serious when need be too. I don't really have any expectations for a first date. I mean, first dates are usually akward, at least at first, anyway. So coffee or a drink maybe....
