Well I pride myself on being a lighthearted go with the flow kinda girl who isn't afraid to get dirty and at the same time doesn't pass up a great pair of heels! My glass half full outlook on life is centered around a fantastic family and great friends. I love to cook and bake and have started to market my Christmas cookies. My creative background typically doesn't leave me sitting still for too long but don't get me wrong a quiet night at home or movie nights are priceless! I'd love to travel more...always so much to see and it's so close! Overall I focus on taking in what life hands us day to day. I am convinced that time passes more quickly every year older so I try to enjoy what is today and know tomorrow will be here soon enough. I can surely tell you that you won't find drama, nor an agenda but a career orientated girl who has goals and knows the importance of having fun along the way.Now about you...I am looking for a someone who knows what they want out of life but at the same time can act like a goof and have fun. I am looking for someone to complement me...not complete me and there is quite a difference. ;) A little sass is always good to keep me on my toes but being able to take it back is a must too.     A little about me--I enjoy day hikes, tennis, all kinds of music, and the beach/ocean. The beach is probably my favorite place; the sound of ocean waves are so relaxing. I enjoy star gazing on warm evenings too but that has been tough since moving to DC (city lights are too bright for it). I look forward to exploring more of Europe--so much history and great art! I am pretty adventurous and am willing to try most anything new. I am a middle child & grew up in St. Louis, MO. I did my post-doc at UNC & then came to the DC-area for work.
