There's a wise saying out there that says that you can judge a person by what they do, not what they say....with that in mind.....What do I do???? Work full-time, going to college, being a mom, being a good friend....I guess I'm pretty good at keeping busy with the great people in my life. My big projects this year are finishing up my bachelors & picking up the pace with my running. I had five 5k races picked out so far in ***all done already), it's going to be a year of healthy fun!!! I love books...pretty much of any kind. I actually rarely read though because I am pretty busy, and I tend to have a hard time putting a book down once I start. So, if you have a recommendation, and I have an afternoon free....let me know what book I should be reading.I don't watch much tv actually; I can't claim any "shows that I gotta watch."...there have been a couple odd ones (yes, the oddness is relative) that I didn't care for but generally his movies are awesome!!I love live music, whether we're talking festivals, bars, or concerts. I don't listen to a lot of country but I'm not opposed to it. I am definitely not a fan of heavy metal or rap.I am not overly picky about food....there are some foods I don't eat but I can always find something on the menu. I generally don't cook for myself; however, I miss cooking for someone who appreciates the effort.I also absolutely love live theater...Any kind...well, not opera but anything else is game.I am not a big sports fan but I love going to the local team games.....if it's live, I'd probably enjoy it. Just really not a fan of watching it on tv!Travel is another one of my favorite things to do.... I'm always looking for a new place to visit! Just my opinion but dinner & a movie makes for a horrible first date. Actually, I would go far as to say that dinner/movie dates should be reserved for when there is nothing better to do and you don't want to stay home. There are so many better options. ...farmer's market, coffee house, find some live music, maybe something new that neither one of us has done.....if we can't be creative on the first date...... :-)

I love to travel and take in live music; thankfully I have had lots of opportunity to do both but always looking for my next adventure. I am currently working on a masters degree on a part time basis which does keep me busy but I do always make the important people in my life a priority; family, friends and you (whoever you may be :D).In my spare time, I enjoy lots of different activities- keeping active (gym, sports, bootcamp etc), going to the movies, spending time outdoors and with friends and family- heading to the beach, a patio with friends, backyard bonfires, game nights or various events around the city (sporting, theatre etc); I am usually game for trying most things at least once. I do also value my down time- puttering around the house or yard, or curling up with a glass of wine and a movie or good book. Now for you- you are someone who also values time with family and friends, is positive, hard-working, energetic, enjoys laughter/humor and is looking to meet someone fun, kind and caring. We would ideally share some similar interests and values but it is also important to have our own interests and independence.
