About Me

I'm into sustainability, self-sufficiency, and local food. I'd bike/walk/bus *** drive if I could. I've lived by bike and public transit for 4 years but moving to NE GA makes that impossible at the moment. I make food from scratch. I'm into slow food and a slow life. I want to raise chickens and honey bees and have a beautiful garden. My goal for the year is to learn to hunt. I love to dance - contra, salsa, waltz....not so much clubbing since my '20s, though i'd still go out for a good dance party with friends. NPR is the soundtrack of my life. Not so much the classical music....I try to go see live music whenever possible, mostly folk, bluegrass but i like to be exposed to new genres. I don't watch TV and dread spending anymore time on the computer than I have to (which makes this process daunting.)I'm active in my community and feel it is important to contribute to the greater good. I'd like a partner who is motivated, ambitious, and shares my values. I want to see the world and be rooted in community. I like to play outside - biking, kayaking, hiking, frisbee, exploring new places. I'd like to have a partner to share this adventure with.
