Me me me.......ok here goes. I came out here to fulfill my dreams and they've actually come true! I have a wonderful career. The kind where I go to work and everyday and I say "wow I can't believe they pay me to do this". It's allowed me to own my home and be comfortable and not have to rely on anyone for help....i'm not after your money ;)I don't have much family here in Calgary. What I do have is a great group of friends that are like my family and I love them with all my heart. I rarely sit at home. Most of the time i'll be out and about visiting with friends and hanging out. In the summer I like to ride my bike, camp, do water activities and drive my car with the windows down and the music incredibly loud while I sing. Winter.....well this year i'm going to try and make it amazing. Winter camping is appealing. Winter sucks, I just want to embrace it and do as much as possible to make it suck less and go by faster. I wish me luck! I would describe myself as free spirited and happy. Finding someone to share life with would be great but at the same time I don't want to be tied down. The perfect guy for me would be someone who has his own life, interests and friends. A great friend and someone who isn't clingy and jealous. I need my space in a relationship and so do you. I like all kinds of music. It depends on my mood but I like classic rock, folk, dance and r&b. I can sort of sing and I love to dance. Before I die I want to learn to play the guitar. About me: I'm a little bit goofy. I can be quiet at times, and then outgoing at others. When it comes down to it, what I really love is having close people in my life who I'm comfortable enough with to be both. I love to laugh (who doesn't?), so it's fitting that I have a big smile. It's taken me a little longer than expected to figure out what I really wanted to do with my life, so I'm back in school these days studying speech pathology. I'm pretty excited, and actually a little grateful that it's taken me this long to figure it out. The different paths I've gone on to get here have led to some pretty neat experiences and have given me plenty of stories to tell. I swim for exercise, ride my bike around the city (strictly in fair weather), and play the occasional game of volleyball. I write when I can (currently working on a kids novel), but I haven't been doing nearly enough of this lately. I hike and camp (spending time in nature--even just an escape from the city--is super important to me), love getting together with friends to play some board games, and am usually dreaming about trips I want to go on some day.My life at this moment is pretty good, but it would be that much better if I could share some of my adventures with the right guy.
