About Me

I am an RN. Geriatrics and Alzheimer's dementia are my speciality. I just got a promotion at work to a management position. So, no more weekends and regular hours. That will be a nice change. I have two sons who I have raised for the last eleven years. My oldest attends UW and my youngest is a senior in high school. We have 5 dogs. The three little ones are rescues (nurse...what can I say). I love being outdoors. I am most relaxed sitting by a campfire. I drive my 34 foot motorhome and take it out year round because I can. All the comforts of home with different views, I love that. I enjoy reading, just started using my Kindle....maybe technology isnt so bad :) My friends are awesome and I always feel supported. My family all live within a 10 mile radius. Life is great, I really have no complaints. That all depends on the person and the connection.

    I have recently separated after being married for 5 years (second marriage) and previously for 22 years. So....I have not dated for many years, making this a new and scary experience! Have 2 friendly long-hair cats and a loving ADHD dog (aka: golden retriever***they are "family" members. Hope you're not allergic… Was in a 20-yr marriage that ended 8 yrs ago due to his disabling anxiety-disorder issues. Easily recognize players and have zero tolerance for that kind of selfishness. Tend to gravitate toward men who smile naturally a lot, have dark hair and are between 5'9-6'3. Confess I prefer fairly short hair (shaved head is nice too :) Really like clean-shaven face...and more...Just sayin’… LOL Putt-putt golf. Some place to talk and have a nice conversation. I enjoy sharing an appetizer and/or drinks. If it's nice out, a walk by the beach is always interesting.
