I have been on other dating sites off and on for years. I meet someone, it works for awhile and then seriously, I have let my work responsibilities get in the way. I take a break from dating.     I am an RN. Geriatrics and Alzheimer's dementia are my speciality. I just got a promotion at work to a management position. So, no more weekends and regular hours. That will be a nice change. I have two sons who I have raised for the last eleven years. My oldest attends UW and my youngest is a senior in high school. We have 5 dogs. The three little ones are rescues (nurse...what can I say). I love being outdoors. I am most relaxed sitting by a campfire. I drive my 34 foot motorhome and take it out year round because I can. All the comforts of home with different views, I love that. I enjoy reading, just started using my Kindle....maybe technology isnt so bad :) My friends are awesome and I always feel supported. My family all live within a 10 mile radius. Life is great, I really have no complaints. That all depends on the person and the connection.

    I would love to explore the city with someone special—maybe that's you? My idea of a good time can branch off in many directions— good conversation at a coffee shop (or anywhere, basically), listening to live music, going to wine tastings or other places where I can learn something new, bookstores, movies, and live theatre or improv comedy come to mind. (Not all in one day:) Love going for boat rides and would like to learn to sail (although I know I'd be a fair weather sailor) or just being near the water.), but haven't had a chance to yet. I love great design of all kinds and was a former graphic designer and had other arts/crafts businesses in the past. Now writing is my creative interest, and fortunately, takes up very little space!Cooking a nice pot of soup on a cold, damp day or reading by a fireplace can be a good time. Going out with friends and entertaining would be nice, too. Mainly, I'm looking for a partner to dance through life with. I'd like to connect with a man physically, mentally, and emotionally, but that spark is important, too--the part that can't be easily defined. Meeting for coffee/tea/wine is a nice way to get to know if there's a connection between us before setting up another longer date.
