Read on only if you want to know more about me...pictures are great and they do let you know that I am fun, active, have enjoyed where I've been, but definitely do not tell you where I'm heading (even I don't know that) but...Am I looking for a perfect man? Definitely not as I am not and don't expect perfection in the next chapter of my life, how boring life would be if everyone was perfect. I would like a man who wants, does and has similar interests, but also has interests outside the relationship. Am I independent? Yes. Do I need someone in my life? No. Do I want someone in my life? Yes. Most people can't be pegged with one word descriptions - people are many things. Me - I like to have fun, have a positive outlook, enjoy life, and I live it. Honesty, integrity, respect, loyalty, commitment are important to me. Long hours took time away from things, so now I am getting back into daily work outs, dancing, smiling more than usual as it takes more muscles to frown, and just being me. I enjoy traveling, watching sports -I can dress up, dress casual, wear sweats and still be me. My aspiration in life is to complete my bucket list and share in completing yours, if you have one & want to share it and just enjoy life while doing it. My preference in music is a good mix of everything. I love to attend concerts, movies - theater or by the fire at home, walks around the lake, eat out or at home for a quiet night, bbq's, entertaining, and anything that involves having fun. There is so much to do, why not try to see it all. People need to relax more, you can't be serious all the time. First meet and greet...I want something that is very relaxing and not too intense.     Thanks to help from family, I now have a sunroom overlooking the water and a 'woman cave' in the works in the basement. I like baking, sometimes cooking but I'd rather be playing Rock Band and let someone else do the cooking LOL. Ok, I can compromise, so we cook together and then play Rock Band together. This is my new favorite winter hobby ... learning to play an *** vocals. My body can no longer handle the cold weather... brrr. I do like to traveI and would aspire to spend a month or two in a warm climate in the winter. I love exploring.I am happy, intelligent, witty, goofy, playful, caring, responsible and a community volunteer.Good things happen to me because I choose to focus on .... good things! LOL.I am a people person, love meeting new people and hope to travel more in the futureI like playing on the lake all summer - swimming, boating, reading a book, bird watching, watching my brother fish...I love eating vegetables grown in my garden and am building a perennial garden with pathways.I'm a very casual, earthy girl who also loves to get dressed up for an occasional dinner out.I spend a lot of time with family and sometimes travel to see them. I live in a nice house and have nice things but I'm not perfect, I don't expect you to be perfect.I don't care what you drive or what you own. I care about who you are and what you have done with your life and intend to do in the future.I have many interests and I have listed them all before, but I think that just confused people. I have experienced a lot in the 51 years that I have been here. Life is always expanding, growing, learning and I am interested in participating rather than watching. What have you been doing for the past 40, 50, or 60 years?I am retired from the software industry and after a short stint buying and selling antiques, I'm now sticking with buying jewelry wholesale which I sell on eBay and rent space in a local store. This is 'fun' money. I am financially stable and love living a simple lifestyle. I volunteer for 2 non-profits and do whatever I can to help from painting, fiberglassing and sweeping floors to building and updating websites! I am thankful to have the opportunity to meet and talk to new people!I would love to find a man with integrity and intelligence (can't stress that enough - my daughter is a Fulbright Scholar). A man who is positive, loving and wants to have fun, laugh, and finds the silver lining in all situations. Drama and games are not allowed in my life.     Just want to let you all know a few things about me. I don't ride motorcycles I am scared of the crazy drivers out there with us.,l don't do water activities, unless you have a pontoon I can flood around on slowly and fish off of every now and then. I don't camp I don't like bugs, and snakes. I don't date outside my race just wasn't raised that way. I won't talk to you if your shirtless on this site, I think that is for other places and times. I won't talk to you if you have pictures of kids on this site, I don't believe children should be on a dating site. I won't talk to you if your not close to my age, I am not looking for a sugar daddy or another child to raise. And I am not looking for someone that wants me to go on weekend trips or long trips with them, simply because I can't, not at the moment,,, in about 3 years that would be great!
