I like to think I am fairly smart, fun and successful in life ( at least for the most part). I have a generally positive outlook. I have a reasonable amount of baggage for someone at this stage in life, and an unreasonable amount of pets :) I enjoy time off and traveling. I went to Australia a few years ago and would love to go back and take some more time there. I would like to make it to New Zealand and the Cook islands this time. Lately I have been making a point of exploring more of the United States. I have a long list of places I want to go see and would really love to find someone to take those trips with. that one requires a do over...Locally I enjoy going to the more small town events and establishments. I am not a fan of huge crowds. I love a nice evening out at a place where I can be comfortable. No suit required kind of a place. I love to cook a nice meal with friends and family, sit out on the deck on a Summer evening and bbq. I love to explore small town shops or sights ( you know, the worlds biggest ball of string kind of attractions).I would like to meet someone who is generally happy. Someone who laughs easily and can make the best of a bad situation. Someone who has a direction in their life. Someone who is available and not looking for an *** but open to seeing where it goes. Someone I can talk with and spend time with, have fun with and travel with. ( And above all someone who can occasionally put up with a herd of small yapper type dogs) note: occasionally :)

I bet you've been trudging through all of these profiles, one after another, some even twice, in hopes of finding and meeting that one special female. I think with all relation's, they should start out as friends and build from there. Whats the rush? I love romance, but it isn't where, when, or how that is important... It is the surprise element that excites me and I enjoy surprising my mate as well. Even if is a favorite candy bar!! I I love to sit by the beach, watch the sunset, a small bond fire, and roasting marshmallows sounds romantic to me! Whoops I just threw one at you!! The fight is on!! Of course a nice dinner, a glass of wine, and soft music is awesome too.Wonder why that would be? As I stated above, I am an open book, but do you look at the cover or do you want to read what's inside? I have been through many storms; who has not! I will start my book in the middle, since I don't know the ending and we can learn about each others beginning later. I will start mine in the middle, in ***, when I became seriously ill. So, ICU was my home for sometime; during that time I had a 3 minute code (death). Now some people have no lasting affects from an experience like that, but God had other plans for me. Which dang it I still use, but working at drop kicking it into the Puget Sound! My glass runs over with laughter, joy, and love...! !!! Why would God give me a second chance on this earth to carry on alone? I am a Christian and my faith is very important to me. So I am looking to share my life with a man who has similar faith beliefs. If you are looking for a barbie doll, that I am not. I have warm blood flowing through my veins. If your looking for a booty call; well move on.and don't waste our time. No real loving relationship is not built on a booty call. I am looking for the real deal, so be real! God Bless and good luck on your search! Sharing new experiences together is a great way to build a connection. That’s why if we’re going out to a restaurant, it should be somewhere a little more adventurous. I think checking out a new ethnic cuisine -- something neither of us have tried before. The element of adventure will add some excitement to our first date, and, who knows, maybe the two of us will find a new favorite.

To clear things up I no longer use drugs.That was a lifetime ago! But those days sure were fun! I am very involved in community projects and volunteering.I manage a non profit community center and love to organize events there. It takes a village and I am part of it! I co manage a farmers market too, really fun!I absolutely love to cook ( and do so professionally ) and enjoy going to out of the way places and meeting the locals and trying different cuisine. Always some good stories and local lore to be heard.I enjoy a cold beer or nice glass of wine too. Would love to meet someone who is a foodie too so that I don't make you crazy talking about food all the time:) I am a morning person and always keep a smile on my face. I figure if I have a problem it's mine and the rest of the world does not need to be bothered with it.I'll figure it out sooner or later.There is nothing like sitting around a campfire on a chilly night ( love to camp) or hearing the waves crash on the beach in the morning.I moved to GA from CT 21 years ago.I have two pretty cool kids..one in college , one still at home but moving soon. Empty nest time!I am kind of independent and tend to get right to the point when talking about things.
