Here is my start with more to come ... I am happy, honest, and am told vivacious. I smile a lot, I laugh a lot, I almost always have a song that I am singing internally. I will always chose to see the glass half full so have been able to experience many adventures with a great attitude and to laugh at those which have not been so wonderful. I am feminine, intelligent, easy going, adventurous, confident, secure, and very prone to make mistakes (which I will laugh about) :). I believe in "chemistry" but I am aware that a good, solid relationship requires a chemistry that grows and continues over time well beyond the initial spark. That being said, there must be something initially which attracts me to someone and this something is far deeper than a person's physical appearance. I enjoy life and have especially enjoyed being a parent. My children are now grown; one still in college and one just graduated and beginning her "new life". So now, it's my turn :)IMy hobbies are varied from the physical pursuits; cycling, hiking, skiing, crossfit, ( this October I participated and completed the Tough Mudder which was an amazing experience) ... to the arts;;tinker"). I enjoy movies, learning opportunities, spirited discussions, and just time "hanging around". My musical tastes are varied from classic rock, a little country, and the newer sounds. I love to dance so music is in my spirit. I read a variety of genres. Probably one of the most important books I have read and try to live by is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz (not always easy to put in practice).I am interested in meeting a man who loves life and the challenges it brings, who wants to travel and explore locally, domestically, and internationally, is fit and active and loves the outdoors, is kind and caring and wants to take time to become friends first rather than leaping into a short term relationship based strictly on our physical chemistry (Not that there is anything wrong with that physical lust which we all love ... I just want to develop something in addition to :) )I look pretty good in a nice pair of jeans, dress, hiking boots, high heels, a bikini, an evening dress ... I am a bit shy about making the "first move", please excuse this part of my upbringing, so I will do my best to let you know I am interested. Thanks to help from family, I now have a sunroom overlooking the water and a 'woman cave' in the works in the basement. I like baking, sometimes cooking but I'd rather be playing Rock Band and let someone else do the cooking LOL. Ok, I can compromise, so we cook together and then play Rock Band together. This is my new favorite winter hobby ... learning to play an *** vocals. My body can no longer handle the cold weather... brrr. I do like to traveI and would aspire to spend a month or two in a warm climate in the winter. LOL.I am a people person, love meeting new people and hope to travel more in the futureI like playing on the lake all summer - swimming, boating, reading a book, bird watching, watching my brother fish...I love eating vegetables grown in my garden and am building a perennial garden with pathways.I'm a very casual, earthy girl who also loves to get dressed up for an occasional dinner out.I spend a lot of time with family and sometimes travel to see them. I live in a nice house and have nice things but I'm not perfect, I don't expect you to be perfect.I don't care what you drive or what you own. I care about who you are and what you have done with your life and intend to do in the future.I have many interests and I have listed them all before, but I think that just confused people. I have experienced a lot in the 51 years that I have been here. Life is always expanding, growing, learning and I am interested in participating rather than watching. What have you been doing for the past 40, 50, or 60 years?I am retired from the software industry and after a short stint buying and selling antiques, I'm now sticking with buying jewelry wholesale which I sell on eBay and rent space in a local store. This is 'fun' money. I am financially stable and love living a simple lifestyle. I volunteer for 2 non-profits and do whatever I can to help from painting, fiberglassing and sweeping floors to building and updating websites! I am thankful to have the opportunity to meet and talk to new people!I would love to find a man with integrity and intelligence (can't stress that enough - my daughter is a Fulbright Scholar). A man who is positive, loving and wants to have fun, laugh, and finds the silver lining in all situations. Drama and games are not allowed in my life. I love rideing my harley, playing with my dogs, camping, being outdoors, listening to the blues, going antiqueing or garage saleing, I rescue adused and abandonded dogs, or just unwanted, find them a good home where they will be happy. Its rewarding but it dosent make you rich, so i buy and sell harley parts, antiques and oddaties online to. Someday id like a sidecar for my dogs. I miss them when they get left at home. In december im looking to relocate,move If all else fails i have a 24ft. Trailer i own to live in. Just need some property where i can have my dogs. I have mild ptsd due to domestic violence from an unwanted x stalker. Hes still around so i keep my dogs close, I have a beautiful rottwieller, shes 7yrs.old and very well mannered. I have a small min pin that i rescued to. Hes a sweetheart.Dont worry i have a protection order n dont dwell about it. I just figured it should be known. I dont lie, steal,cheat and i like to be upfrount about everything. No drama!!!# I hate drama!!!! Go out for a drink n talk, go from there....Im dieing go get out n meet some new people. Friends or ????
