But isn't everyone? :) In summer you can usually find me zipping around in my little car, camera slung over my shoulder looking for that weathered old barn or perfect shot. . Love photography. The beach. Boating. Sipping sangria on an outdoor patio. Or with the right person, nothing at all other than interesting conversation & a glass of wine.In the winter I like....well, I don't really like the winter...lol. But I'm certainly open to giving winter a chance. And I COULD be talked into enjoying a fire, a good movie and a bottle of Chardonnay after skating or cross country skiing. But really? It's not what you do...it's who you do it with :) I'm hoping to do it with a smart , sexy, professional man who hasn't yet lost his sense of humour, positive attitude & passion for life. Simple, uncomplicated, with little baggage. Random thoughts...Laughter really is the best medicine.Passion is important. If you don't live with passion, are you even living?You can’t really begin to appreciate life until it has knocked you down a few times. (The important question is: Did you get back up?) A flash in the pan may dazzle the senses, but a slow burning flame feeds the heart and soul :) It's the journey...not the destination.

I like to think I am fairly smart, fun and successful in life ( at least for the most part). I have a generally positive outlook. I have a reasonable amount of baggage for someone at this stage in life, and an unreasonable amount of pets :) I enjoy time off and traveling. I went to Australia a few years ago and would love to go back and take some more time there. I would like to make it to New Zealand and the Cook islands this time. Lately I have been making a point of exploring more of the United States. I have a long list of places I want to go see and would really love to find someone to take those trips with. that one requires a do over...Locally I enjoy going to the more small town events and establishments. I am not a fan of huge crowds. I love a nice evening out at a place where I can be comfortable. No suit required kind of a place. I love to cook a nice meal with friends and family, sit out on the deck on a Summer evening and bbq. I love to explore small town shops or sights ( you know, the worlds biggest ball of string kind of attractions).I would like to meet someone who is generally happy. Someone who laughs easily and can make the best of a bad situation. Someone who has a direction in their life. Someone who is available and not looking for an *** but open to seeing where it goes. Someone I can talk with and spend time with, have fun with and travel with. ( And above all someone who can occasionally put up with a herd of small yapper type dogs) note: occasionally :)

Hey! I'm a happy, pretty smart, creative, witty and fun woman. I can be spontanious, and can also be a habitual planner. I love a good conversation. I think it would be fun to have a friend close to my age to hang out with and go places with. I love the beach, anywhere. There are many places I'd love to go to, and hopefully will someday. I enjoy being at home, working on my never ending projects here. I've learned how to do a lot of things out of necessity and I'm proud of that. I like movies, reading. Cooking - I'm just not very good at it! Going out for dinner is nice. Love my family, 2 adult children, one who is temporarily living with me. I'm learning how to be better at keeping the yard looking respectable. Music is very important, always finding something new that I like. I'd like to meet someone who has a wide range of musical taste.I don't have much experience with many outdoor sports, skiing and all that, since I was much younger. Not a huge fan of motorcycles, riding them scares me, looking at them and hearing them is cool. Have my own little sports car that I've been (slowly) getting running. It is my personal bit of youth that is in my garage, next summer I drive it, I swear!
