I joined a vintage bicycling club as a fun way to get outside and see the beautiful Bay Area through different eyes. I like to take classes and learn new things like yoga, swing dancing, ceramics, flower arranging, hula dancing and Italian cooking. It may sound silly, but I recently took up the ukulele and have a great time strumming away while trying to sing along. I am big on going to the library and reading. Cook books, historical fiction, autobiographies and Rick Steves are often in the stack at the check out counter. My latest summer adventure was touring Europe with a fantastic group of interesting people. Now I am stricken with Wanderlust...Where to go next??? So many choices! A first meeting at a pub, coffee shop or frozen yogurt place. Then perhaps a second meeting for a walk & talk at a pretty outdoorsy place.

Hi there, since I've been on this site, I've re-evaluated what it is that I am looking for.I am taking a huge step backward and am just looking for friendships at this time.And I don't mean friends with benefits, that sounds so shallow, for me anyway.Sounds like something an Insurance company might offer you, "and now, you can have friends with benefits! Operators are standing by!"Doesn't mean I don't want a long term connection, I am just being cautious. And with friends, you never know, you might find the friend you want to be with. I'm a happy person, and if I never get into another relationship I know I'll be happy anyway, maybe lonely at times, but that's normal. But in reality, I'M probably the Knight-and Shining Armor-ette who will find a guy that trips me as I walk by him and I realize he's the one.Divorced in '08.Not bitter, just did not make the right choice in a partner and it became necessary to part ways. I'm very independent and would never ask a guy for money, and I cannot be bought.
