About Me

My Life, in a Nutshell. Been single for several years now. I was certain, that ***would be my year. The year isn't ever yet! But, I have a feeling I will be editing in a few months, changing ***to ***.......... I'm always optomistic!I'm a divorced, middle age gal, that feels like 30. I am 5'5", healthy, but not a skinny model. I live near the Glendoveer Fitness Trail, and would like to find someone to walk it with me. I don't smoke ***years!) and rarely drink. I never do recreational drugs. If you do, do not contact me. I work full time, downtown. I don't work regular hours, but I don't work weekends. I live alone, but for my cat. Kids are out. I have a home, and car. I live very frugally, with a goal of being debt free. Slowly, but surely, getting there. My car is old, but it's paid for. My apartment is cheap, but comfortable. I just want to be worry-free. I'm easy going, and don't sweat the small stuff. I'm Catholic, and occasionally go to Mass. I'm not religious.I hope to find a nice man, who may have some of the same goals. I like if you're taller than me, and not skinny. I like a big guy. By big, I don't mean morbidly obese. It would be cool if he has a car, home and job (or at least, an income). Sense of humor is a big plus, and likes kids and animals. I like a man with a big personality, not so much a milktoast. Please don't be an alcoholic, drug user, woman abuser, felon, wanted or attached in any way. But, anywhere may be doable. I want that man to know that I have goal in mind. To get remarried someday. But, I'll just be happy starting with a nice date. It was so much easier when I was a teenager! I've dated since my divorce, but have not been in a relationship.I am pretty much a homebody, because I live cheaply, but mostly because I am still single. When I do get out, I like to eat out, go to the movies, walk around the mall, hit up the casino, visit friends. I listen to Alternative, 90's grunge, new music on 94.7. (The Black Keys can do no wrong!) I don't like country. I love Volkswagens. More like obsessed..lol You don't need to, but at least humor me. And, I won't hate what you may drive. I'm on ***, keeping in touch with my friends and family. We live in an amazing time, where one can keep in touch, and chat with friends and family members all over the world! . I could roam a good museum for a week, and enjoy history. I am independent and self sufficient , my only requirements are a decent bottle of wine and peanut butter , and SCUBA, and this lamp, and this paddle ball game...I am looking for a Gentleman. A strong man with a kind heart. A Dive buddy, Best Friend, Travel Companion/Playmate, a protector , an intellectual sparing partner, and, Lover. Someplace that is easy to have a conversation and a good place to people watch or walk around. In a nice public place to discourage the psycho-killers. I'm relatively new to this so I am not accustomed to the in's and outs of the on line dating experience. Let it be said that I am a "nice girl" I am not looking for a one night stand or any meaningless encounters. I am looking for someone to make me laugh and have a good time with.
