About Me

I realize that guys don't "read" per se but they tell me I have to have a profile so for what it’s worth, and in no particular order, here goes … I am extremely easy going and love to try/experience new things. I enjoy movies (old, new, thrillers, drama, comedy, kids stuff, sci fi, action, whatever, just as long as they aren’;big" domestics), gardens and gardening, intelligent conversation about EVERYthing or nothing at all, pets, long drives with no particular destination and for no apparent reason, live performances (plays, comedy, music, etc), reading, adventure, historic sites and museums, festivals and street fairs, my work, my family, big adventures or excursions, dark chocolate, the changing of the seasons, all kinds of happy, bouncy, foot tapping music, my convertible, the holidays, trivial facts, quiet reflection, wine (read cheap here – I am definitely NOT a connoisseur!). I ski (snow, not water), bowl, ride (horses and motorcycles) and dance (social, ballroom, square and contra). I don’t “cook” per se (I have been known to dabble in it some, but really it's just me so why bother?) but I’m great with KP and the dishes! I like being TOTALLY silly with my niece and nephews, I also like hanging out with my friends working hard, resting hard and of course all those other things that most everyone else in the known world has listed in their profiles like the mountains, the beach, travel, dining, etc …You should preferably be stable, mostly baggage free (we all have SOME right?), emotionally mature and financially responsible.If you find any of this appealing, or if I have added you as a “favorite”, then drop me a line! you never know, you might just find a keeper and after all that's the idea isn't it? A first date could end up being almost anything really, although movies, plays, shows, etc don't really lend themselves much to conversation, so coffee, a drink or meal, a visit to an exhibition or historic sight maybe, would all be good choices so that we could talk and get to know one another.
