About Me

***Well, I have been on this dating site for about 2 years now. What I've learned is that every man on here describes himself as kind, funny, great kisser, romantic, respectful, easygoing, etc. I imagine the female postings are about the same. And I am sure each of these people truly feel this way about themselves. But what really matters is what we think of each other; how we interact. One persons' idea of romantic may not be anothers' perception.I just want to find one man who talks about the right topics, not too much and not too little. We both flirt but are still respectful. We both want the same kind of relationship and aren't afraid to work for it. We both have the same sense of humor and like to do some of the same things. So I could give you a whole bunch of adjectives to describe myself but none of them really matter. What matters is how we are together-that all important elusive chemistry. I encourage us to meet for a simple glass of iced tea. No financial investment required just a small investment of time. And here is my philosphy on the timing of "when" to meet. I have exchanged countless *** prolonged periods of time only to meet a man and be able to rule them out in 5 minutes or less. Because they don't look like their photo or the photo was misleading (waist up only shots, hats, etc). Or because they are not the kind, funny, romantic, gentlman they said they were. Or perhaps, they are kind and funny and romantic in thier own opinion but not in mine. But the real reason, is becasue we spend time, in between the ***, building up in our mind, the kind of person we are looking for and are dissapointed when the person is not all that. The internet is wonderful for making connections but not so good for getting to REALLY know someone. That ya still gotta do in person. So if you want a penpal for a lengthy period of time I am probably not your gal. I say, meet for a glass of iced tea (no big expense required) and just talk. Chemistry happens immediately or not at all. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Looking for: man. In age: 51-61

I am very easy going. Don't let much bother me. Life is too short for that. And I'm not really a naughty nurse. I'm a nice nurse. Well, maybe somewhere in between. Lol. I really like my job. I have 3 children and 1 still lives at home. I love to just do things on the spur of the moment. Life is too short to procrastinate. I like movies and still like going to the drive-in movies. Love to walk and often take my dog with me. I don't prefer to date couch potatoes. Been there and it wasn't good. I love to travel. Just give me my GPS and I'll go anywhere. Really miss the beach there. Lol hope to meet someone with similar interests. If that sounds like u, send me a message. Dinner in a public place, maybe a drink and some good conversation. Unless something really interesting to me is suggested.

I like the outdoors. I like cooking with a partner! I love all music. On-line dating??? Not so sure! It was a lot easier when we were in our 30's wasn't it? lol I am looking for someone to spend time with, share love & laughter, and just enjoy life as it comes.

Looking for: man. In age: 50-60

I'm single, and value my independence. I have been told by my favorite grown up person that I have a quirky sense of humor and way of looking at things. My favorite not grown up people are my 4 grandchildren and they adore me. As they should. I give them frosting and cookies before dinner and don't give them a bedtime. I love to cook and even have a healthy cooking web page. I also am a fairly decent amateur photographer. I like biking and yoga as well to stay fit. I like almost any kind of music except heavy metal. And more :) I love to dance, but, well.... I have more fun than skill. I love to travel and an African camera safari and a trip to India and Nepal are high on my bucket list. Just to be clear. If you are currently married do not contact me. For an initial first meeting lets keep it short and sweet. How about meeting at Starbucks for coffee. If we hit it off well - the first date - I'd prefer something a little active that allows us time to talk and get to know each other without a lot of pressure. Another really cool first date ~ Ride a Segway and see some of the sights of the city. I've done it on my own but there are several other really cool tours I haven't done. I'm looking for a companion to have fun with. I like my life. I'm happy with who and where I am. If something develops into a relationship, that's nice. But life is good either way.
