Clarifications: I am not sure if I am exactly thin. (weigh 127ish, depending on my potato chip consumption) The photos are recent and not altered in any way, so decide for yourself. Also, I am ***cm tall. One kid lives with me, the oldest visits.Usually, people assume I am in my 30s or 40s, attitude, energy, interests, etc. wise.I can be glamorous (or edgy) and I can be goofy. When it's a good tune, I dance all around the house. I am a rock star in my car. I really enjoy other people. I have lived urban, small city, rural. All are great. I am stable and dependable, yet spontaneous and able to take risks. I am passionate and enthusiastic about my work. Actually, that's true about all my interests! Really though, I do know how to relax too. (can't get enough of the beach)My perspective on things is often irreverent or unconventional, but never mean. I tell it the way I see it. I make a lot of people laugh but I am a terrible joke- I am looking for love and fun and companionship -- I am not looking to rescue you in any way; I am not looking for a provider or a protector or a toy boy. However, if you are the one for me, I will turn cartwheels for you! (former cheerleader, can you tell?)My kids ***and ***are my number one priority, without a doubt! They are amazing. Weird and wonderful. And so much fun. I am a lucky mom and I know it. This past weekend I watched my son be 'trainer' for a Major Atom AA hockey team.. Awwww. (jsyk, his tie was ugly-- but he was very handsome. and so serious. So proud I could pop!)My interests are learning and doing. Everything from fitness to psychology. Cultural events to creative arts. Reading to dining out. Marketing/business to home renos. The list goes on and on.... My goals in life are to learn a lot, do a lot, achieve a lot of my dreams, love a lot, laugh a lot....... :) I am sure we can find interests in common.I see an ongoing back and forth conversation bubbling over with energy, ideas, laughter and passion for life, often while doing things or going places! maybe hiking, going to an estate auction, painting a room, attending a concert or play, hanging out with family or friends, exploring a new location, etc. I am not willing to settle. I want a lot, but I have a lot to give! (apparently, my fave phrase today is 'a lot')And YOU? You're uniquely you! ***WARNING NOVEL IN THE MAKING***About me: First, I am Southern so yes, I do have a Southern Drawl and say; 'Yes Ma'am and No Sir' - I think that I have wonderful morals and character as I was raised by a US Marine who led by example. I am educated, and am the President/CEO of an upstarting Air Ambulance Company on the island of St. I have a background in Emergency Medicine and the Mental Health Industry; much of my focus today is on volunteering and I choose to work with our Wounded Warriors, Alcohol & Substance Abuse as well as Abused Women and Children. I am patriotic and love and support our men/women in the military throughout the world. I have traveled the world and have made so many wonderful friends. I have also been divorced for six years from an outstanding US Marine. He and I today remain the greatest of friends. I have 4-children, they are what make up the four quadrants of my heart. They are incredible men and women. I was a single parent for all but 8 years of their lives so I believe that the individuals that they are today is in fact a reflection of me. With this being said...Moving on with one's life is never easy. My friend's describe me as a woman who is giving, loving, passionate, trustworthy, and funny, who trusts but never easily and who has command presence. I am passionate about passionate subjects, refined and emotionally analytical. I love my life, children, people and animals. I respect myself and am proud of the woman that I have become. I am very tactile (I love walking together hand in hand or arm in arm even from the cars parking place to the grocers) but no groping in public, unless you feel that you must. I'm patient, never lose my cool and have the humility to admit when I'm wrong. I live life to the fullest, and strive for excellence both personally and professionally. I detest snobs, love innocence, drenched in the arts and culture. I read mainly non-fiction though will read almost anything. I do not need nor want a man that is willing to settle for second best. I am a very unique woman who is very secure in who I am. I am not a possession nor am I someone to be owned. Loved...Yes, and in return I will accept love completely, caringly and honestly with a man that has humor, kindness and passion. I am a woman who understands the power of words and the harm of secrecy. Therefore, I am a woman who does not speak around corners; it is straight between the eyes. I like to say about myself; "My horns hold up my halo and strength to get through the fight." Who I hope to find: I long for a man who knows who he is, secure in what he is, proud of what he has become. I am looking for someone to travel and build a life with, emotionally and physically, creating a home and a better future. Sharing the simple things and the grand adventures, a companion who pushes me to be a better person and who is there for me to lean on, occasionally. The one special person that will one day when we are 90, sit back on the porch swing and reminisce with me about all the grand adventures, the trials and tribulations and all of the fun we had together.
