Hi there...I am so sorry for all you well intentioned men out there. But I have to say this with hopes of boys that just look at the pictures. I am not interested in talking dirty, doing the wild thing on the first meet or seeing a person that looks different from what you've shown online. I'm happy with my exterior appearance but truly believe that true beauty is inside and I work hard at both. Life is a classroom and there's always room for growth. I truly believe that I have alot of great qualities to bring to the table and won't settle so I trust my *** find me a gentleman that can bring the same. Don't get me wrong I want a man in my life for all the positive aspects of a relationship but don't need a man. My son has just completed his BA at Guelph University (hence the reason I bought my home in Guelph) but is working now and recently got his own apartment, car and I'm very proud of the man that he has become. Now it's my time :) As far as location is concerned I'm flexible within the Southern Ont. area. I haven't yet decided if I want to sell my home or rent it. This is a university town and could utilize it as a good investment. Part of my decision will depend on who I'm with and where we're heading in yrs. to come. I know what I want and the direction I'd like to go in the future and I'd like to do this with a best friend, confidant and lover. A man with a sense of humour is a must, independant, intelligent, kind spirit and basically on the same page looking for similar goals in life.I try to reply to all even if your not my type I'll be polite and honest. Hi guys!.. I'm an independent, openly affectionate, fun lovin' mother of an awesome 24 year old son...with a love for MUSIC, ANIMALS/nature & comedy. I enjoy workin' out a couple times a week. I also enjoy sharin' new interests and ideas. And might I add...that I have an inner "rocker child" jus' itchin' to get out! \m/O^O\m/My son is the MOST important thing in my life...that goes without sayin'...but right now...I am focusin' on my level of happiness for a change. He's doin' his own thing back in SC...and though I HAVE dated since I left my ex...I've never brought a man into our home. I don’t believe in paradin’ men/women around children…so I’ve put a lot of my own needs on the back burner to be a GOOD, committed single mom. Now that I have raised my son I feel like I can finally "exhale"...so to speak. I'm tryin' to broaden my circle of friends...and maybe let someone special into my life. I'm not in a big hurry...things should develop naturally over time.At the risk of interjecting negativity...I'll not meet anyone without a recent photo (C'mon y'all...we were all hot back in high school! LOL)...one taken within the past couple of years will suffice. Nor will I meet anyone I've not spoken with on the phone. Once weboth reach a certain level of comfort...we can meet on a "no promises/no expectations" basis and see where it leads. (No players or "one night stands"...self respect thing y'know.) If we make a mutual connection...and it goes there...I'd love to explore a romantic, long-term relationship. If it blossoms into something deep and meaningful...wonderful! (But please don't lead me to believe that we share somethin' more...if we don't.) "-"***......things that make you go hmmmmmmI'm a strong woman who fits in well with any social gathering. I feel just as comfortable in an evening gown sipping champagne as I do in jeans and a tshirt sitting around a campfire having a beer (but red wine is really my beverage of choice) I want a man with similar traits.....looks good in jeans but cleans up nicely and has an eye for male fashion. I'm somewhat of a movie junkie and have diverse taste in music. As I mentioned prior, I enjoy red wine, with a nice Brie cheese. I enjoy all kinds of travel...everything from a sunny resort to a cabin in the woods. There's nothing like swimming in the ocean but also love the serenity of Georgian Bay. I love thunderstorms and the sound of the rain on a Sunday morning when I don't have to get up for work...even better waking up with that special someone beside me.I enjoy a game or 2 of pool...not the greatest at it but my game seems to improve after a couple of glasses of wine...go figure!Family is very important to me, as I hope it is for you. I have an older sister and younger brother who have wonderful families of their own and Christmas and Thanksgiving are usually a big deal for all of us. I have a 17 year old son going to college next year...,I'm very proud but not looking forward to seeing him leave home. I love to laugh...and I mean really laugh...the kind of laughter that doesn't allow you to speak and brings tears to your eyes, And just an FYI....I snort when I laugh...can't help it....it just happens.As much as I enjoy romantic evenings at home, I also enjoy the occasional night on the town....perhaps a live show, or concert....or dinner then a game of pool (I'm not great but my game tends to improve after a few glasses of wine)And guys.....no way of knowing), or you wearing sunglasses in every single shot, maybe out of focus,, ...oh...or the one of just your torso.....no head shot....c'mon!...really!?...in this day and age of phones with cameras, digital cameras...there's really no excuse for not having a decent photo of yourself....if you don't have it....i'\m not interested! Something casual....perhaps drinks but dinner not necessary...makes for too much pressure
