About Me

Hi guys!.. I'm an independent, openly affectionate, fun lovin' mother of an awesome 24 year old son...with a love for MUSIC, ANIMALS/nature & comedy. I enjoy workin' out a couple times a week. Tryin' to tone up...lose some weight and live a healthier, happier lifestyle. (Already payin' off!) It would be nice to interact with like-minded individuals. I like to fish...and YES...I bait my own hook! I have a HUGE lovin' heart, a sharp mind (above average)...admittedly suffers from occasional "blond moments". HUSH! It’s part o'me charm. *Giggle* I'm animated with a WARPED sense of humor...a bit of a smahtazz...but ONLY in fun. I'm outspoken in a matter of fact, logical kind of way. I'm a very open, effective communicator...and would appreciate the same. I avoid drama...I'll walk away from an argument. Sort of tomboy/jeans & T shirt type... I'm pretty laid back for the most part...easy to get along with...with an occasional playful hyper streak that can get me into trouble if I get the giggles. (I could very well be the ONLY volunteer parent in history to be put in "time out" in my son's kindergarten class. LOL) Sort of a loner/homebody at times...but I do like to get out and do things. Very easy to please...not materialistic...jus' wanna love and be loved. I enjoy anything sensual…LOVE to kiss, or anything that provokes laughter or deep thought. I also enjoy sharin' new interests and ideas. And might I add...that I have an inner "rocker child" jus' itchin' to get out! \m/O^O\m/My son is the MOST important thing in my life...that goes without sayin'...but right now...I am focusin' on my level of happiness for a change. He's doin' his own thing back in SC...and though I HAVE dated since I left my ex...I've never brought a man into our home. I don’t believe in paradin’ men/women around children…so I’ve put a lot of my own needs on the back burner to be a GOOD, committed single mom. Now that I have raised my son I feel like I can finally "exhale"...so to speak. I'm tryin' to broaden my circle of friends...and maybe let someone special into my life. I'm not in a big hurry...things should develop naturally over time.At the risk of interjecting negativity...I'll not meet anyone without a recent photo (C'mon y'all...we were all hot back in high school! LOL)...one taken within the past couple of years will suffice. Nor will I meet anyone I've not spoken with on the phone. Once weboth reach a certain level of comfort...we can meet on a "no promises/no expectations" basis and see where it leads. (No players or "one night stands"...self respect thing y'know.) If we make a mutual connection...and it goes there...I'd love to explore a romantic, long-term relationship. If it blossoms into something deep and meaningful...wonderful! (But please don't lead me to believe that we share somethin' more...if we don't.)     "-"***......things that make you go hmmmmmmI'm a strong woman who fits in well with any social gathering. I feel just as comfortable in an evening gown sipping champagne as I do in jeans and a tshirt sitting around a campfire having a beer (but red wine is really my beverage of choice) I want a man with similar traits.....looks good in jeans but cleans up nicely and has an eye for male fashion. I'm somewhat of a movie junkie and have diverse taste in music. As I mentioned prior, I enjoy red wine, with a nice Brie cheese. I enjoy all kinds of travel...everything from a sunny resort to a cabin in the woods. There's nothing like swimming in the ocean but also love the serenity of Georgian Bay. I love thunderstorms and the sound of the rain on a Sunday morning when I don't have to get up for work...even better waking up with that special someone beside me.I enjoy a game or 2 of pool...not the greatest at it but my game seems to improve after a couple of glasses of wine...go figure!Family is very important to me, as I hope it is for you. I have an older sister and younger brother who have wonderful families of their own and Christmas and Thanksgiving are usually a big deal for all of us. I have a 17 year old son going to college next year...,I'm very proud but not looking forward to seeing him leave home. I love to laugh...and I mean really laugh...the kind of laughter that doesn't allow you to speak and brings tears to your eyes, And just an FYI....I snort when I laugh...can't help it....it just happens.As much as I enjoy romantic evenings at home, I also enjoy the occasional night on the town....perhaps a live show, or concert....or dinner then a game of pool (I'm not great but my game tends to improve after a few glasses of wine)And guys.....no way of knowing), or you wearing sunglasses in every single shot, maybe out of focus,, ...oh...or the one of just your torso.....no head shot....c'mon!...really!?...in this day and age of phones with cameras, digital cameras...there's really no excuse for not having a decent photo of yourself....if you don't have it....i'\m not interested! Something casual....perhaps drinks but dinner not necessary...makes for too much pressure

    I am an average woman, one of the averagest ones...And of course the flawlessest. My friends don't describe me at all, they simply adore me.Just my English is the cannot-very-improvest.I have all my brown hair...I mean all hair I have is mine... even the few grey hairs I have are mine (I don't tell where).I have all my brown eyes...Well, I probably have lost some, but I rarely borrow other people's teeth.And I am afraid I am a Rubens' body type. But much better than to be a Willem de Kooning's one, is it not?I always say what I think, but sometimes I say what I don't think because I talk without thinking. In the rest of the time I think without speaking which is a real bonus.And I am very optimistic. Or at least until I get the correct information. But I can never understand why all those positive people keep their glasses half full and never drink the whole thing...Chemistry is important. Anatomy even more!Not only do I look my age, I AM my age. For me looking certain age and being that age are two completely different things. For example looking 35 is not the same as being 35.
