About Me

I am the father of 5 fantastic daughters, two are now in college and 3 of them live with me every other week. They are very active and on their way to being very successful young women. I make every effort to be a good father for them. Also, I am an education professional and actively involved in my school district helping create a positive high school experience and preparing our students for their own futures. After very much enjoying the first half century of life, I am looking forward to the second half with great anticipation to see how it all unfolds, as it does present some exciting possibilities. I look forward to meeting someone to share my life with as a partner, lover, and friend. My daughters are important to me, so anyone interested must enjoy children, young adults, and eventually grandchildren. And, of course, I already enjoy yours :) I do enjoy going out, and attending events, but also very much enjoy being alone with you watching a movie or talking. I don't look like a runner, being big and tall, but I do run to win my weight class:) I am enjoying the pursuit of fitness, and working my way back into some semblance of athleticism, with hopes of participating in other adventures. I look forward to meeting someone who enjoys the outdoors, watching movies, the arts, attending sporting events, and wishes to do more travel. Coffee, beverage, walk, talk, adventure... open to all possibilities.

    I am a transplant in CA from WA. Not sure what brought me here but it has worked out well. I enjoy riding the trails on my mountain bike and I am a National Ski Patrol in the winter... Life is good. There are lots of outdoor activities here and I love the outdoor concerts and markets. The lakes are full this year and look forward to getting out and enjoying the summer !!Down deep I am a small town boy. Don't get me wrong, I love to go out on the town now and then, dining, dancing, and swallowed up in the comfort of a woman I adore.. (wishful thinking). I am funny but a bit shy at first and it takes me a while to open up but when I do I won't shut up (not really). I love most types of music from rock to classical but can do without twangy country and foul-mouthed rap/hiphop...The economy took its toll on my construction business and had to fall back on my skills as a broadband technician but it hasn't got me down, I know things will rebound (GULP)!!!!I don't want this to sound wrong or for anyone to get the wrong impression, but please be HWP to respond. Understand, I DO like women with curves but health and activity are still important to me and being seriously overweight is a deal breaker for me. I apologize if this offends anyone. Fairly slow. It is the time that you both are just meeting anf learning each other. I don't get overwhelmed by first impressions, good or bad. Sometimes the nervousness of the first meeting can cast a different shadow.....Maybe just a nice quiet dinner with a relaxed atmosphere and talk. By the time dinner is over we both should feel better about where this might lead us, maybe out dancing or a movie we BOTH want to see... I slow walk up her driveway/sidewalk and then let the feelings of the night show their response, I warm, tingly kiss or perhaps just a friendly hug waiting to mature into something later....;-O
