I am interested in dating and seeing where it goes. I do not wish to jump into a relationship. My interests are quite varied and much of my time is spent with my children. I figured I could change it when I put my photos on and before I unhid my profile, but when I tried to change it, I found out that age and gender cannot be changed after 2 weeks and are "assumed to be correct". Oh well. . .I AM ACTUALLY 57 YEARS OLD and male, lol. Find somewhere to have a drink of some sort, maybe a little food and talk for awhile to try and get to know each other a bit and see where it goes from there.

First and foremost, I hope you are all having some good experiences out there with meetville. I have been on some pretty weird dates. There are a lot of wounded hearts out there. Be careful. Always meet someone new in a public place. Don't let them come to your home until you know them and have met some of their friends. I am looking for that someone who loves to laugh and not take life too seriously, but serious enough to take care of business. Friends first. If it feels right and effortless, it was meant to be, and then commitment is a no-brainer. Someone who enjoys staying in shape, live bands, dancing, a good movie in the theater or bundled up on the couch, Cold day playing hooky, fire going strong, both reading a good book, but too distracted to finish it. Road trips. Just get in the car and go see what there is to discover. I look for humor, kindness, affection and someone who is comfortable in their own skin. I am a third generation Texan. I will open the door for you, give you my coat when you are cold, and stand up when you enter the room. I have relatives that would hurt me if I didn't. I see humor in everything. Not everyone appreciates it, but they'll get over it. I am very right brained. Musician. Definitely ADD. Don't worry, I can sit still. "Oh look a shiny thing!" I like working with at risk kids. I was one. I am very spontaneous and fly by the seat of my pants most of the time. Despite that, God has seen fit to continue to bless me. I love Christ with all my heart. He is the only reason I am still taking in air. Being a parent has shown me who God really is. It takes time to really know someone, but I am a big believer in that initial spark. I also believe that it can be built on. I want to look in your eyes and know I am in trouble. In other words....PASSION !!!!! If it’s all about you, I would be wasting your time. Uncertain of where I'm at these days. I tweeked my back on the job almost two years ago. I have'nt been the same since. Just keep picking away. The woman whom i moved to Cali. with 8yrs.ago has moved back east to be with family. I'm actually on my own for the 1st time, at the ripe old age of 52. There have'nt been alot of women in my life. But until now, I have'nt been without one. I was married for 20yrs. and have 3 grown children. I don't feel like I've ever even dated. I'm quite shy, but i feel I warm up eventualy and can be myself once I'm comfortable. I can't stand being indoors on a nice sunny day. I like NASCAR or watching a good football game, but I'd rather be out doing chores or tinkering on something. I could live in shorts n' sandals or au'natural in the right setting. (don't want to offend) I enjoy classic rock or some country (as long as I have access to beer) I miss snuggling up to my love at the end of the day' whether it be a movie or just the night sky. Not sure, a walk in the park, a picnic, maybe a bike ride (Harley or Mountain Bike) Something Outdoors or maybe just grab a coffee and walk on Main St.
