I am a high tech engineer by trade, but I keep my spirit soaring with many different music projects. I love to laugh and be silly. I can be very serious, but most of time I'd rather play! I'm well into my life so I'd have to say that if I have a goal it's to be happy! I really just want to enjoy life! I swim, free dive, workout, ride motorcycles, play music, and cook when I get the opportunity. I enjoy life one day at a time so I don't have any "plans" of where I want to be in the future. I am gainfully employed, and have been for the better part of 35 years. I don't make tons of money but I am very rich indeed. My friends are wonderful and frenetic and we share an abundance of love and excitement. I keep myself busy if I am able to, but always make time for myself and those I love. Most of my tastes are on the fringe, but I do mainstream very well too. I am a simple, blue collar man who loves to dress up formal and attend benefits. I have a VERY open mind and will try just about anything once! Please don't put me in a box, I won't fit well and you'll find that tomorrow it will look like I belong in a totally different one anyway. Let's just get to know one another and have fun! Seems silly to have a standard first date prepared, although I did when I was in my twenties and I thought I was SO cool. While I am very young at heart and in spirit, I'm neither young nor disingenuous any more! I prefer to cater to what seems we would both enjoy. Dinner and a movie can be a fabulous time, but so can miniature golf and pizza. Or perhaps laser tag and ice cream. Coffee and conversation is always a good time for me as well as the beach, either during the day - volleyball and body surfing, or at night for stroll or a fire! I love to see plays and I am always out watching live music! For me to concoct a "perfect first date" scenario seems far too contrived and orchestrated. Let's just see what we come up with after we talk for a while! No bullshit, no games!

I'm an analytical type - constantly learning new things - business markets science music politics fashion people. I work in technology and love science & tech of any kind. I love ideas, insights, cleverness.Looking for someone fun to hang out with, but of course I'm pretty good at making things fun. If I could wave a wand, I would jump ahead to a serious long-term relationship. But I can't, and what serious long-term relationship ever started seriously? So random data: I like action, comedy-action, spy-thriller & sf movies, as well as independents.I like movies about making movies, like Living In Oblivion, and anything questioning our awareness of reality (Matrix / Ghost in the Shell / Sourcecode etc.) Authors I like: Phillip K.****..When I was in high school, I wished very hard to never be bored again, and I have to say my life has not been boring.I'm great at supporting a partner at whatever they want to do, and when I have the right person supporting me I can do anything. It seems to me that commitment-phobia is lame - when you find something good, hold onto it, because life is short and nothing lasts forever. Driving to Vegas for a weekend might be a bad idea for a first date. :) Or not... :)

I relocated to Orange County, CA in November of ***to start my new Job. I make an effort to get to the gym 4 to 5 days a week and eat as healthy as possible, so I'm looking to find someone who shares my desire of a healthy lifestyle. Don't get me wrong I don't go overboard and appreciate a good slice of pizza every once in awhile. I'm a loyal, passionate, affectionate, loving, and kind person. I have a sense of humor, but as we know that is very subjective. An affliction is affecting a vast majority of dating site users; it is "ADD" Attention Deficit Dating. I find no one is immune not even myself. It start so innocently, an exchange of a few *** the 2 parties agree to exchange phone numbers. Then the ADD kicks in and party one never hears from party 2, or even worse party one calls party 2 and party 2 never returns the call. Party one or party 2 has moved on to the perceived next best thing. With so many options it's hard to stay focused. Let's all work together to help end this affliction.
