About Me

The first thing you should know about me is that I am a proud mother of 2 very amazing kids. Having said that, if you don't like kids, I am probably not the woman for you....I love to hang out with my kids, they keep me young and make me happy!I love to read and usually have 2 or 3 books on the go. I love to cook, which is not always fun or easy when cooking for the kids. What one loves the other doesn't! Being Canadian I can't say I have a favourite season. I truly love our Canadian weather and experiencing all the elements! In the winter I ski, toboggan,build snowmen and make snow angels. In the summer, I garden, walk, hike, swim and well just lay around the pool :-) . I try to find balance in being active and enjoy lazy nights watching movies or playing games when I'm home with the kids. I don't have a list of criteria for my ideal mate. I enjoy a man in a suit as much as a pair of faded blue jeans. The qualities that are important to me are self-confidece, not arrogance. A sense of humour and generally fun loving. I care about the person that you are. I am looking for someone that takes care of themselves mentally and physically. Someone who is slow to anger and accepting of others and their flaws. Someone who actually wants a "relationship", knowing that it starts as a friendship and it builds from there.     To sum it up, what you see is what you get. I am just me! I've been told I'm pretty funny, I'm fairly intelligent, articulate, well educated and can carry on a conversation in most any circle. I'm a huge Vikings fan and make no apologies for it....so accept it! I love love LOVE football, not just the Vikings. I am a girly girl to the fullest extent. I have NO desire to go hunting or fishing (I'm petrified of fish btw and have NO desire to see your fish pictures), mice scare me, I don't like snakes, but I do like camping in a camper and campfires. I love SHOES and clothes, but don't let that fool you, I am not a materialistic girl, a tish high maintenance, yes, but not greedy! That being said, I like to be treated like a lady...have my doors open, my chairs pulled out for me and general other respectful things gentleman do.I volunteer A LOT for a children's foundation, so I stay fairly busy. I'm a firm believer of paying it foward! I've been blessed greatly in life...maybe not with great riches, but with so much more! I guess it's about time to find someone to share those blessings and stories with. He doesn't have to be perfect because Lord knows I am not, but well groomed and dressed is expected!     Here we go again, it's wee hours of the morning and I find myself on Plenty of fish, creating a profile. Looking for serious relationship, with someone who won't steal from me or cheat. To the young little whipper *** there in their twenties....I appreciate the compliments and it makes me smile, but I have a 22 year old daughter and a two year old grandson LOL. You guys need someone closer to your level of thinking in life (I am smiling ). I am old enough to be ya momma LOL!!!! I could never explain THAT to my friends hahaha. Gives a whole new meaning to "; hahahahahaha. ** And I do have a 10 year old son that I have full custody of. Single Mom, round two with that. I raised my first child practically by myself and I somehow had another kiddo late in life. SH** happens I guess :)Have a great day and keep smiling. Makes people wonder what yer up to! Kinda like the cat that ate the canary- but I had the feathers hanging outta my mouth!! First date, just to talk. Public place, probably have my son, if ya dont like that, you don't need ME. If ya cant handle my son, there's no need in talking. Short and simple. He is my little man !!!!! He has a good momma toooo. But I am not going to exclude him or leave him home alone to meet someone, if there is no one to keep an eye on him for me.
