I have been divorced for many years after I was unsuccessful in raising my ex and have no desire to attempt raising a grown man again. I have spent these years on my own learning a lot about myself and also what I would like in a partner. While raising my children on my own, I went back to college to earn my nursing degree to provide a better life for my children. I am in no way, shape or form bitter.....actually happy with lessons I've learned and where life has led me. I mention that because it has made me very strong and independent and look for the same in a man.Now that my children are getting older, I'd like to find someone to share my life with. I need someone with similar goals, values and faith. Also, a good sense of humor, honest and drama free. Besides work and hanging out with my kids, I like to work in my yard, get in my car and see new things, having the neighbors and friends over for a cookout, most outdoor activities, dancing and a cold beer (or couple) once in a while. I enjoy all types of music (country is at the top of the list) and a great joke. I'm not high maintence...just something low key

Hi, I have been divorced for a couple of years now. I have two boys ages 10 and 13 who mean the world to me. They live with me the majority of the time. My ideal mate would be a man who has children of his own who understands the time and commitment it takes in raising kids. If you don't have children, it's not a deal breaker, but you do at least have to like them lol. I have been a teacher now for 22 years at the same school. I am a very giving and down to earth person. I don't like to fight and I am about as far as you can get from "high maintenance." I believe that there needs to be an equal give and take in a relationship. if you and I click, I will give 100% to the relationship and in order for it to work, you need to do the same. That doesn't mean we have to spend every waking moment together. I don't want my life to revolve around the relationship. I think it's important for me to spend quality time alone with my children sometimes as well as occasionally spend time with the girls or guys in your case. I enjoy taking road trips on the weekends, discovering new places and trying new things. I am searching for a man who is educated, financially secure, has a good sense of humor, is a good communicator and not afraid to show his affection. I don't mind spending time at home, but I don't want someone who just wants to lay on the couch and watch tv all the time. I like to get out and do things, life is too short. Going out for a drink or an ice cream, taking a walk.

The most important thing to me in a relationship is communication. If you can not talk to each other about everything then it isn't going to work. You have to be best friends. Also, it is the little things that matter. Writing little notes or sending messages to just say hi and miss you. I'm an affectionate person who enjoys kisses and hand holding.I enjoy music quite a bit. Really enjoy live music. It can set the mood or make a mood. Who doesn't enjoy the fireplace suggled up with the person who care about.Traveling is important. Going away for the evening or a week just to experience life. It is short let's enjoy what the world has to offer us.I am happy with my life and enjoy it very much. I'm looking to enhance it with a healthy fun relationship. A homemade dinner is nice when both of us are in the kitchen listening to music having a glass of wine talking while cutting of ingredients. I'm not sure why people are surprised I have tattoos.**Please be sure you are in place in your life where an exclusive relationship would work and what you want. If you are on here to pass the time, think that you should have someone in your life or just like to date and meet lots of people please pass me by. I'm not against making new friends but there is *** I don't feel like being anyones means of passing time. A walk in the park, having coffee sitting in a big leather chair someplace, meet for lunch, or a drink out on a deck.
