I am a hardworking, self-sufficient woman. I was a single mother for years. I could not figure out how to date and be a good parent simultaneously. So, decided to focus on being a mom first...especially since I only had one shot at being a parent. I always figured I would have time for myself later. Well, suddenly I find that time has come! The one problem...I have been out of the dating scene for so long, I'm not sure how to go about dating now! Things have changed in the past 10 years and I have gotten older. That said, I'm not getting any younger or hotter! LOL! So, if you are not looking for a relationship, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHIN! Marriage is not a necessity...but I would not rule it out completely. Maybe one day I'd be willing to go there again. But really I'm just looking for a partner in crime. Someone to have fun with and go on adventures with. There are no set requirements for first date. Meeting for a drink or to have coffee is fine. A long walk (accompanied by my dog of course) at a park or cemetery (and no I don't mean a dark, scarey, weird place). Dinners seem to me a bit too much for a first date. If the chemistry is not there, it can make for a long, uncomfortable meal! Same with movies, and movies do not afford the ability to talk and get to know one another.

I'm a single mom that works her tail off that is financially stable that likes to have fun. I love most music but the 80's butt rocker music still takes me back to the good old days. Just starting to appreciated country music.;special romantic night", listening to live music, playing pool(I'll let you win), hot tubing....anything that is laid back. One of my goals is to help restore a classic car one day...or at least drink and hand somebody the tools to do it. I love doing projects together indoors and outdoors...a little dirt or grease doesnt scare me. NOT SEEKING INTIMATE ENCOUNTERS First off I'm a single Mom and I work VERY hard. If you DON'T like kids..(or my dogs) .. we won't get along. My daughter comes first.. while highly capable she's pretty awesome and extremely well adjusted. Respect is not an option, it's demanded. I am in healthcare surrounded by people who need me 8hrs a day. I'm not looking to be a barfly or run non stop after I'm off of work. I like to smile n laugh a lot. Life is really tooo short to get down for long. Have been lucky enough to surround myself with an amazing network of friends and family. Cooking with my friends/partners is something I really love to do. I can do simple to complicated food lol ... don't know how? I'll teach ya some easy ones. It's been said I'm more of a 'guy's kinda gal' .. I don't consider myself a ultra feminine/girlie-girl... I'm not prissy.. I dont' care about the latest fashion trends but more into my own style and comfort :) However, I do like dressing upon occasion.. This being said..I'm not your hunting or fishing pal either. I work very hard at what I do...and I like to relax and have fun. My career is in healthcare and I'm surrounded by folks who are physically and emotionally dependant on me for their every need. This means I like to relax and mellow out after work -- not see how many clubs can be seen in a night. First date? Hmmmm I'm a coffee and tea drinker...I DO drink, albeit more socially or with friends. I used to go dancing all the time but after working so many consecutive years in healthcare running on my feet all day/night, I kind of lost the drive to do so LOL...yet I do like to do so from time to time. I love to shoot pool even though I'm terrible at it. I have a minor competitive streak that comes out of me when surrounded by good friends, laughter, pool tables n beer.
