About Me

I've learned a lot in the last couple of years... A lot about me, my wants, my needs, my desires, my dreams.. I'm looking for someone who I can share that with. I'm a very goal determined person.. I know what I want and I have such confidence in myself and believe that I can truly achieve anything. I have many goals I have set for myself, some that are quite easy, and some that kick my ass some days.. lol. I am one of the most determined people you will every meet and I'll never give up!!I try to be a very positive, optimistic type of girl. I live for today.. tomorrow hasn't happened yet, and well, yesterday is over.. But I'm left with memories, and many lessons learned. The events in my past have made me the person I am today.. and I really like me ;) I believe in positive energy, positive reinforcement. The times that I have felt low, I always look up to the sky and say the sky is still blue and the sun is still shining.. everything is as it should be.I have daughters that are so smart and so beautiful (wonder where they get that from.. ;***Every day I learn so much from them, just as much as I try to teach them. And I've got from them a few times.. 'yeah, mom, you are smart..' as if they're totally amazed.. haha! These days they're too cool to hang out with their lame mom.. lol But I guess that leaves a little more time for me and you ;)One of my favorite hobbies, and I've gotten my girls into it too, is photography.. not just taking the picture, but the fun we have altering it with a photo editor.. you may be able to notice that from a few of my photos.. but it's fun and I really enjoy doing it :) I've also started re-purposing old furniture, giving it that vintage look.. maybe one day I'll be able to sell my creations lol. I have a few other causes that I'm devoting some time to these days.. maybe talk to you about that over some sort of beverage ;)I'm not a vain person, so it's not all about looks. But there has to be some chemistry. I don't need to be with someone, but I would like to be.. I put my effort into it, and so should you. I've never really been an outdoor person, unless you count laying on the beach at Echodale, but I'd like to be. I want to camp and go hiking. I have a bit of an adventurist side of me.. I hear Elkwater has a great adventure program there!So, this is a bit about me.     Wow! The meetville selection of cuteness has significantly improved since I've been gone. I'm not in a super rush to meet someone for a long-term anything but I do like the idea of getting to know some cool people. I'm a pretty happy single person and my life is very fulfilling. :) I have learned that the more limits you put on people and the more you stick to "your type", the less chance that you're going to meet someone nice.     Animal Lover? Most would probably classify that as an understatement. If you don’t really like animals, I’m not the person for you. My animals are part of the package. I enjoy being at home because I enjoy spending time with my animals, but, I also tend to work long days Monday through Thursday and like to relax and recoup. That doesn’t mean that I’’t want to be out every night. I tend to be a casual person…jeans and yoga pants, even when working. I do enjoy the opportunity to dress up, it just doesn’t happen on a daily or even a weekly basis.The long working days come from owning my business. I love what I do! I sometimes have to work weekends but not the whole thing. There is flexibility in my schedule, in the end I chose the hours I work. I’ve spent the last two years starting and working on my business, it’s been busy but I guess I’ve always been a busy person and likely always will be. It’s time for a little more balance.Some of the things I enjoy are my family and friends, my animals, crafting, reading, music (will listen to almost anything), photography, and the outdoors (as long as it’s not cold and there’s not a lot of bugs!). I will try almost anything once (except things like skydiving and bungee jumping). I can cook if I have to and will sometimes enjoy it if I have the time, but tend to avoid it. I need more balance in the eating and working out part of my life! I would love to travel more!I’m independent, loyal, unbiased, somewhat shy, and can be stubborn. I'm looking for someone who will love me for who I am and not mourn for who I am not...and you deserve that too! Are you the one that was worth the wait?
