So here we are…yes it’s come to this…Online dating :***no offence meetville staff – you guys do a great job. Proud of you!)In this day & age you’d figure it would be a little easier to connect with someone! All your friends are married or divorcing or gay & you can’t really date someone at work (unless you like possible future domestic drama where you earn your paycheque – of which…I am not a fan!). “Excuse me - that organic Kale is looking extra nutritious today don’t you think?”Let’s not get started on the bar scene please :)So what does one do?We all have the same desires – we all want to be loved and cared for. We all want affection.Someone special to share our lives with. Who laughs at our jokes – even the really bad ones.Who will hold us up when we can’t stand on our own. Who has our back no matter what.Who tells us when we are wrong & sets us straight when we lose our way.Who will one day say those 3 precious words & truly, honestly mean them.I know you’re out there – just hope I’m lucky enough to bump into you one day :)

So how do you sell yourself? I'm not really sure. I'm funny, kind, caring as we all are one here right? I would love some romance in my life again. And I know it's almost standard on here but I'm just not going to do the shirtless bathroom mirror selfie...it's just too cheesy. ;) I want a relationship to be an adventure. It is so much work getting to know someone and I don't want to rush it. I'd rather have fun, try new things and just let things fall into place. There has to be physical attraction but that can't be all there is. What's the worst that could happen? We have a new friend? What a horrible prospect! Please appreciate sarcasm and don't take yourself and everything around you too seriously. Life is about making the most of what you have and enjoying every minute of the ride. I'm not a jealous person or a drama queen and I'm actually not jut saying that! I do expect to be treated with respect no matter the situation because that is how I treat people. You can disagree about many things but disrespect and ***'t something I want in my life. I have 2 children 19 & 12. If you consider children to be a hassle, inconvenient or "baggage" then we definitely won't be a good fit. I've always been active and now that my daughter is older we are looking at more challenging activities, I'd say my son but he has discover a life of his own lately. I've recently taken up running and did the Grind for the first time this spring after talking about it for years! Adventure Time is on the horizon and I want to seize it. Something casual. Grab a tea...I don't drink coffee & go for a walk. Something where we can get to know each other a bit before we decide to go to a movie where we don't talk to each other for 2 hours and then go home. We can save that for later :)
