.....Hmmm...this is where things seem to get complicated. It seems to be when you are up front and forward in telling someone exactly what you want, need, and desire they tend to run. But here goes...I would like to meet someone who knows what they want in a relationship, is ready for a real relationship, but not expecting to fall in love in a day or get married in a month. You know the first moment you meet someone if there is chemistry and during the first date if you are excited for a second. I like simple to extravagant from watching movies at home to champagne at a black tie event. I like the heat of the desert sun and playing in the snow, dressing cute or getting dirty. And there is nothing like an ice cold beer at a baseball game! When I really want something I go for it. I’m passionate about everything from the simple things in life to the most difficult. I don't take a back seat approach to anything. I try to love and appreciate life as much as possible and I would like to share that with a partner. I would love to find someone that is affectionate behind closed doors and in public (cuddler a big plus), enjoys spending quality time together (but also giving each other due space), isn't afraid to be silly, and likes to be adventurous romantically and personally. What I truly am in search of is someone that will be my best friend ,like/love me and whom I can give all my love to, someone who appreciates me for me and of course I will appreciate you for you, and someone I can't wait to see. I feel that confidence is very sexy but arrogance is not. Someone that will stand up for themselves and their partner is amorous but not someone who lets others walk all over them. I do not want someone that always agrees with me. I want someone to challenge me and someone I can learn from. I believe that respect, honesty and open communication are the largest parts of a relationship and I truly appreciate them. I am an open book and I want to be able to share and tell my partner everything....no matter what it may be may be and I hope for the same in return. Most people do not like confrontation but, I feel that it's all in how you go about it that makes the difference.     Well hello there!Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile.I'm a young 44 year old woman who is looking for a well matched partner.I am the director of a YMCA and have always made a living giving back to the community. Previously I was the regional manager for a mentoring/literacy program for Prek-3rd grade. In addition to a "day" job I have my own business and use the interaction between horse and human to facilitate emotional growth. I would add that I am occasionally stubborn, have a huge heart, love a good debate, like a clean home, and love my dogs as part of my family.Things I love to do (in no particular order): hike with my dogs, read, cook food with loved ones, eat food with loved ones ;) travel (I just got back from Spain and France three days ago), read, raft, kayak, explore, movies, ski, camp, get dressed up for a nice dinner or evening out, spend time with my friends, spend time with my family, play cards, volunteer......I'm truly up for most things :)I'm fortunate to have a wonderful family but will take at least partial credit for the long term friendships that I have. I believe in creating relationships that are mutually beneficial, I believe that we are not put on this earth to be alone and that at the end of the day we all want connection.
