Well hello there!Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile.I'm a young 44 year old woman who is looking for a well matched partner.I am the director of a YMCA and have always made a living giving back to the community. Previously I was the regional manager for a mentoring/literacy program for Prek-3rd grade. In addition to a "day" job I have my own business and use the interaction between horse and human to facilitate emotional growth. Like I said, I make the choice to go to bed each night knowing I'm impacting lives in a positive way. That's very important to me.My friends and family would say I'm witty, warm, loyal, honest, open, easy going, beautiful (they are my friends, after all!), passionate, always willing to peacefully work through any difficulties, and a welcome addition to their homes any time. I would add that I am occasionally stubborn, have a huge heart, love a good debate, like a clean home, and love my dogs as part of my family.Things I love to do (in no particular order): hike with my dogs, read, cook food with loved ones, eat food with loved ones ;) travel (I just got back from Spain and France three days ago), read, raft, kayak, explore, movies, ski, camp, get dressed up for a nice dinner or evening out, spend time with my friends, spend time with my family, play cards, volunteer......I'm truly up for most things :)I'm fortunate to have a wonderful family but will take at least partial credit for the long term friendships that I have. I believe in creating relationships that are mutually beneficial, I believe that we are not put on this earth to be alone and that at the end of the day we all want connection. My ideal partner would be a man who:Takes care of himself (physically, emotionally, spiritually)comfortably expresses himself verballyloves to touch and be touchedis comfortable in social situations yet also likes down time together doesn't use drugs or drink to excessbelieves in the potential of love and commitment and wants to create a healthy, loving, satisfying, passionate relationshiphas a great sense of humor (this should really be at the top of the list) ;) I can be a prankster, love to laugh, and need that to be a part of any relationship that I am inlikes to travel and explore new placesand yes, you really must love dogs. I have two labs and we are a package deal.I don't ask anything of anyone that I wouldn't do myself...so this list is how I live my life and I'm looking for someone who is making some similar choices.That's all for now, if you're interested we can talk more. :) A walk along the river, coffee or a drink...something short and sweet for a first meeting and then if all goes well we can go from there.

    Hi, first off let me start by saying that I am not on here just to find someone to "Hook up" with.. So, if that is all you want, keep fishingi am a true Oregonian, so with that, I like to walk on the beach, even in the rain. Camp, fish, hike, do just about anything the great NW has to offer. I am an animal lover, I love to go to the movies, or just sit home and rent one and watch it while cuddling one the couch.
