About Me

I like all kinds of music I read a lot I don't have much of a life outside work and home. First dates are really for conversation. Dinner and conversation, by the time dinner is over, you pretty much know if you'd like to keep talking or if you'd like to part ways.

Woman. 43 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.

Looking for: man. In age: 40-50

I prefer a nice hike to a night in a bar, time with good friends and family, and to keep myself surrounded with good influences. Most weekends I am doing something outdoors and in the fresh air; hike, bike, walk, or sometimes just sit and stare at the beauty of ocean. I'm not a couch potato - I don't watch TV.I am half Native American and German (does this qualify as "Caucasian" on this thing? I don't know which box to check - lol). I am a curvy 6 ft tall when I wear heels. I am currently a Radiology Physics student with a goal of creating a career in the Medical field since having my life completely altered by the recession; I'm not a victim - I have my own money...I don't need yours (just in case you were wondering about the "student" status). ;)I like occasionally dressing up for a night out as much as I like laying on my porch bench and enjoying the breeze. I grew up with a Dad who built Mopars and listened to Rock and Roll, and a Mom who owned/raced an alcohol fuel dragster and listened to the Blues; I can be a bit of a tomboy by nature of my parental influences. I'm not a high maintenance gal; I dislike the mall, shopping, and the make up counter. However, I do like to take care of myself by means of eating clean, working out, and dressing to accentuate the positives. I guess you could say that I'm a mix of the girl next door and a tomboy in heels.I'm confident, independent and easygoing. I have an uncanny sense of intuition. I am able to come up with my own solutions and solve my own problems, although I admit that I prefer having a "other half" to keep me grounded. I set goals and then reach them. I apologize when I'm wrong. I keep myself well balanced: no need for addictions, prescriptions, anti depressants, or drama. I have a huge laugh, big smile, and sunny disposition. Guy friends tell me that I'm "not easy kill" and that I'm intimidating which always makes me laugh because I'm the nicest person. I've got a huge heart, but I'm not a doormat. I eat clean, but I'm not a food Nazi. I can be brutally honest and to the point, but I'm pretty good at softening my honest answers. As for you? Have a passport with a stamp or two in it because you're interested in the world and you occasionally travel it. Don't wax all of your parts and end up with less body hair than me - I'm supposed to be the feminine one, right? I understand the need for guy time in the man cave...in fact, I think it's kind of sexy; I'll bake you guys some cookies for your get together (I also understand how I probably shouldn't call it a "get together"). You don't have to have a lot of money, but manage it because A) You have enough to call your life stable, and B) You're responsible with it.). Working with your hands and fixing things makes me swoon. You like a tall woman for reasons other than "I want my nose to land in her cleavage when she hugs me" (lol). Make me laugh so hard that I pee my pants and I'll probably stay with you forever (No...seriously). Drug or alcohol addictions will not be tolerated. A casual drink here & there works - thrice weekly doesn't. My son is 14 years old. There is no drama with the ex as we have been on great terms for 10 years. We co-parent our son well which requires constant communication - please don't let that be "weird".Gosh...I wonder how many made it all the way down to the end of the page. (?)Smile! :) Good conversation, a nice view, enjoying good food. Cultural or art festival. Bike ride along a beach path. MLB, Football, or Hockey game. Motorsport/racing event. Glass of wine or coffee somewhere. An evening around a fire pit. Just about anything outdoors on a nice day. Laughing so hard our stomachs hurt.

Woman. 45 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.

Looking for: man. In age: 42-52

I wish this thing had a choice for kids "doesn't want any more babies". I have two teenage sons and I can't handle going through birth to teenager again! We all are enjoying the independence they are achieving!I seem to trend to men that don't always let me take charge. I like a man that makes me laugh, can talk about a wide variety of topics, and likes intelligent women. Sometimes, it is nice to let someone else take the wheel.I have a slightly "off the wall" side; I may randomly speak to students or people in general using different voices, just to see their reactions. My humor is activated by somewhat nerd-ish things, though usually it is one-liners and quotes that crack me up. I actually like puns, though not "knock-knock" jokes. I have discovered that I will never be a "jock", due to a severe lack of coordination despite repeated efforts to improve. I'm fiercely competitive, though, and will try my best to win whatever the game is. My list of hobbies is short, as I like to excel at a few things, rather than dabble in many.I listen to a wide variety of music, but can't play any ***, to my long-lasting regret. I enoy classical, "the pops", and even some of today's bubblegum teen music. There isn't much music I won't at least give a trial, other than angry, profanity-laced "gansta" rap.For fun, I'm game for most anything once, though I'm a bit hopeless in terms of coordination. Fall is one of my favorite seasons because it means the return of SEC football. My sons make me close the door to drown out my yelling when I watch football. I'm a screamer.I don't understand NASCAR, so if you love it, I'm probably not your type. I can shoot a pistol, a rifle, and a bow and arrow, but I don't hunt nor do I fish. My last fishing trip occurred when i was 16, on a pond in a boat with my dad and brother and a snake fell off a limb into the boat. My dad easily knifed the snake, but I freaked out and he wouldn't go back to the bank and let me out of the boat. I haven't been fishing since.I seldom drink alcohol as I don't really like the taste of most alcohol. I recently discovered Abita purple haze, and it is one drink I enjoy. I prefer college basketball to the NBA and I prefer to be at the game than see it on tv, at least for basketball. I can't follow baseball, it's a bit slow for my taste. I still giggle at Dr. Seuss, could care less about Oprah, and get most on my news online. RED made me spill diet coke when I watched it, both times. "; is one of my favorite Connery movies. Essentially, life is already a drama, so add laughs whenever you can! Meet for a casual meal or drink somewhere, so we can talk and get to know each other better
