Let’s start with the facts: I don’t do drama. When the going gets tough, I deal with it and move on. Negativity? Not a fan. Music? It is what intoxicates my soul. Conversation? I could lose myself for hours in it with the right person. Relationships? The best kind of which I know are the ones in which you can simultaneously lose yourself and find yourself. Being of service to others? When one person gives, two people receive.I do value confidence and purpose. In fact, when we first meet, if you sense a bold, original, and somewhat off-the-beaten path persona, then please do not waver from that initial conclusion. I am my own person and am comfortable in my own skin. I believe the best love is the one person who makes you a better person without changing you into someone other than yourself. The ideal relationship for me is one in which we both have the freedom to be ourselves, even if that means just being on our own at times. I am far from a clinging vine and don’t expect to share everything with you…just the things that matter.I value good company, harmonious companionship, shared laughter and the ability to see the extraordinary in the ordinary. I maybe unconventional at times, but that is simply a lose translation for fiercely independent and adventurous. I can make my own clothes, grow my own food, operate a chain saw, clean a fish and use a log splitter. (You still with me?) I have never been one to back down from a challenge or an opportunity. In fact, when opportunity knocks to experience something fun and exciting, you won’t hear me complain about the noise!As a singer in a band, I love to perform and take the stage but also know when to shine the spotlight on someone else. I am well-versed in moderation and know when to move quickly or take it slow; work hard or just roll with the punches; be a compassionate giver or execute that unique brand of tough love. I am one for whom kindness is an ***, but never confuse that kindness for weakness.I admire a man of confidence and ambition. He will speak his mind and enjoy the results, yet still maintain an open heart towards the sensitivities of others. He is laser focused on some things but can just go with the flow when necessary. His quick wit and curious intellect allow for those conversations of depth and meaning, yet his fun and playful sense of humor guarantees not just routine chuckles and giggles but the far more indulgent, gut busting, side splitting, “please administer me some oxygen now” kind of moments. We would meet for drinks at a local bar or pub to talk while we listen to a local band play.
