I don't really go out enough to meet new/quality people. I'm from VA moved out here for my masters in biotechnology/stem cell biology and doctorate in neurobiology, which I completed last July. I currently work at a small stem cell company developing stem cell therapies that we can bring to the clinic to treat spinal cord injury.I enjoy having a healthy and active lifestyle (my dog makes sure of that) that includes tennis, an indoor volleyball league, yoga and whatever groupon is available for something new (this month it'll be crossfit).

I'm driven and know what I want. I live my life with 110% put forth. I wear my heart on my sleeve and even though this sometimes causes me to get hurt, it's a part of my personality that i'm not willing to sacrifice. I'm wanting to meet someone who is dominant, but a gentlemen. Can challenge me, but support me at the same time. I thrive on going to the gym and engaging in outdoor activities, specifically hiking. I really want to go to half dome next summer. I'm hoping that I'll be able to run one within 6 months or so. I'm also interested in fitness competitions, but just getting my feet wet with all the information regarding this area. Seems fun. I'm a christian and enjoy going to church on sundays. I would like this to be a shared experience with my significant other that can carry on when I have a family. Never really realized how many people have given up on christianity and religion. This is a deal breaker for me.

Still contemplating man's existential dilemma. It's bound to come true one of these years, right? Most of the time, I have a sense of humor when it comes to myself. And you should, too. I live by the saying, "If you can't laugh at yourself, you aren't truly living." I have two jobs. One is covering a hockey team. And the other as an account manager for a sports and entertainment marketing firm. I love both, especially because they keep me on my toes. I get the privilege to interact with all sorts of people on a daily basis, which is something I highly enjoy: meeting new and interesting people! Both are equally self-motivating and test my perseverance. I may work a lot (although I don't consider what I do as "work." I enjoy every second, including the bad with the good), but I know how to balance a social life as relationships are extremely valuable to me. There are many things I enjoy.- in hand - every morning. I'm a nerd), (auto)biographies, Criminal Minds, Mark Sanchez's Butt Fumble, animals, cooking for my man (although, you won't be seeing my creations on the Food Network anytime soon). Band or artist on my iPod I'm ashamed of (sort of): One Direction.
