About Me

I'm saying this in the first sentence in an attempt to save you the time of reading the profile or typing an *** be silly and tell me that you drive fast. I promise, I google half of the locations I read because I have no idea where they are. The distance restrictions is a simple one for this area, even if someone is willing to make the drive, it won't be long before they don't want to make it (understandably) and I simply don't have the time for traveling to see someone considering all of my other obligations.After taking a year off from dating, I'm going to force myself to "get back out there" although I'm not 100% sure that I want to be, so you're warned. :)I'm very honest, very blunt, and, from what I've been told, not like very many other women on here/around here (Is that a good thing?). I'm from the city, but I moved out to a semi-country area where I now have a small farm in addition to a full time job. I'm stubborn and hard headed and want to do things myself (fixing lawn mowers, cutting down trees, opening jars of jelly), but I have caught myself thinking how nice it would be to have someone that wants to help out or just do things with me (if only I would let them.)I like to laugh, but it has dawned on me that I have not laughed very much lately. In fact, the laughing I did at an episode of Impractical Jokers is the only time I can REMEMBER laughing in the past few weeks. I'm not ashamed to admit I need someone's help to break that streak. (See, there is the honesty coming out.) I'm honestly not thinking about a first "date". I'm willing to meet, in the whole public place thing, and get to know someone, but I don't want to do the "date" thing until I know someone at least enough to know I want to be on a date with them. I hope that made sense. Going about things this way is not something I've done before, but I figured I'd give it a try.

    Hey Guys ...Doesn't this whole online dating process seem like an infomercial about yourself? Just curious!As you can see I have a quirky sense of humor. Art, culture and love for life lets me enjoy such activities as going to the city, museums, amusement parks, beach, parks, live sporting events, dining experiences, etc. I am not always expecting a fast paced life of filling my schedule with activities, which means I know how to relax and enjoy quiet nights, rainy days and lazy days.Since I believe in honesty... I do occasionally smoke. I am looking for a positive influence in my life to help me quit altogether.     I’d love to play modest and say I hate talking about myself, but after our first meeting you’d know it’s a lie. I’ No, I don’t hate the winters, I love the snow, even when shoveling my car out of 3 ft of it. Which brings me to the point of people who complain about the snow, the freeways, other people or life in general: I dont like constant complaining. In life I like to practice yoga and I’m currently in a ***hr yoga teacher certification program. I have also recently taken up kickboxing and it turns out I have an awesome roundhouse, so take that Chuck! When I’m not finding inner peace or kicking-ass, you can find me hanging out with my little black lab/dachshund. She’s pretty cool for a creature that prefers toilet water to the water in her dish.As a fair warning- I’m pretty awesome, but I won’t stay that way if you turn out to be a douche/bro/assclown-the door’s that way.
