Let me start out by saying please don't judge a book by its cover. I appear to be a girly girl. And I can be, but I also have no issue lounging around in sweats and my hair up. I'm not an outdoorsy person myself...however I have no issues with trying new things. I would love to meet someone to show me new things and experiences. A little about me.... music makes me happy...def a country girl but i listen to all kinds...movies especially comedies. However movies like ***and gladiator are amongst my favs, I love watching sports baseball, hockey, football especially live...im def silly.. always smiling and laughing, outgoing, i'm quite sarcastic.. hopeless romantic.....I work as an Esthetician...my goal is to eventually work in a medical spa...work out 3x a week...more if I can get there...its so weird talking about myself. If you want to know more just ask. This leads to what i'm looking for.Someone who wants the same things in life, likes to laugh to go out every now and then, or stay in watching a movie..a partner, but most important my best friend...someone who's family oriented, hardworking, understanding amongst other things...I do have two sons 12 and 6...my world so if you dont like kids,or want somebody with no kids..def not the girl for you...however just to be clear...they have a dad...I'm not daddy hunting for them!!!

Woman. 33 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.
Looking for: man. In age: 30-40
I am a funny, compassionate, and honest person! I enjoy being active, whether it's a stroll on the beach, kayaking, traveling, wine tasting, or a hike. I spent my childhood, adolescence, and my early adulthood competitively swimming, playing soccer, and running track.I am a fan of Sunday football: I watch the Giants and Jets, but the Steelers have my heart! I'm also a life-long Islanders fan, but the Penguins are a close second.I loved every second of it.... it truly is an amazing city! This would also explain my love for the Steelers and Penguins!!I work very hard and I worked even harder to achieve the life, personal, and professional goals I wanted to accomplish. I appreciate the finer things in life (going out to nice dinners, shows, etc.), but also enjoy simplicity (picnic in the park, listening to a band, snuggling on the couch, or watching a movie).I am an occupational therapist and am incredibly passionate about what I do. I work with children with special needs from birth to age 12. My career is a huge part of who I am and keeps me very busy! I also volunteer for various organizations and even more so to my own "special" causes. It is important to me that I give back, as I am incredibly grateful for the life I have worked for and been given. I am extremely family oriented and value my friendships tremendously. I am the youngest of three and have 5 nieces and nephews who I adore. They definitely keep family time and holidays fun and entertaining to say the least :).I am not looking for any particular "type", but I do want a partner who eventually wants to get married and have a family, who values hard work and education, and is COMPASSIONATE. I want someone who is going to contribute equally to their career and household and share responsibility to create the best life possible. Good COMMUNICATION goes without saying! I am happy with the life I created and i look forward to creating a life with a partner. I deserve an amazing man and won't settle for less!!If you want more info, feel free to ask me over drinks sometime:)

Woman. 32 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.
Looking for: man. In age: 29-39
Best word to describe me is quirky. I speak what is on my mind freely with wit and an abundance of sarcasm. Sometimes my sarcasm can come off ****y, but it really isn't, especially through "typed" words which do not really show emotion, I'm always joking around and trying to be silly. I'm like a sour patch kid, first I'm sour than I'm sweet. If you lack a sense of humor and willingness to joke around, please don't waste my time and yours. I love making people laugh by doing or saying something unexpected. I'm a nerd through and through, I love books, reading is one of my favorite past times and no I don't own a Kindle or Nook, I prefer old fashioned ink and paper. I usually stick with sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural genres, though I will admit I do enjoy a classic ever so often, my absolute favorite book is Pride and Prejudice.Besides being "slightly" nerdy I'm also a single mother to my 7 year old daughter, she is my world and the best little person I know, of course I am a bit biased. She is just like me, a little sassy, creative and marches to her own beat. In addition to my job as "mommy" by day I slave away as a Real Estate Paralegal, all and all I do enjoy my job, but there are those days, you know what I mean, when it isn't even Monday and I have "the Mondays". I'm not into ultra girly anything really. I don't spend $50 on a haircut or getting my nails done, no fake tans, in the words of Sweet Brown, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat." I'm most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt/tank top, though I can and do on occasion bust out the "girly girl" in me. Thankfully my boss has not *** dress code so I can wear pretty much whatever to work :) Some of my favorite TV shows are True Blood, The Walking Dead, The Game of Thrones, Elementary, Once Upon a Time and Duck Dynasty. I tend to go for more of the horror, sci-fi/fantasy, comedy type movies. But one can never go wrong with a good 80's movie, especially the "Brat Pack" movies, if you can sing every song in the Breakfast Club, you my friend are a fan of the 80s. Which brings me to my next love, 80s music. Listening to 80s hair bands and pop groups is like a little slice of heaven in my opinion. Going to see an 80s tribute band, such as The Legwarmers, is like taking the Delorean for a spin into one of the greatest decades ever. But as much as I do love a good 80s flashback I tend to listen to more rock/alternative music and savoring when I hear on the radio favorites from when I was in high school, how happy was I when they brought back HFS, lol, ahhhhh the memories.; Sons (put on a great live show, saw them in February), lately I've been feeling the folksy bands.I love Mexican food, I could literally eat this everyday and not tire of it at all. Favorite candy is Peanut Chews, I love dark chocolate anything really, but really can't stand milk chocolate, way too sweet. Favorite dessert is Tiramisu. I love to bake and cook. I bake when I'm bored or for special occassions. I'll bring in treats to my co-workers and I have been known to bring treats when me and my friends go out on the weekends. I love trying new things whether I'm making it or I'm going out somewhere. My body is perfectly imperfect. Experiencing the greatest gift a woman can ever have, i.e. child bearing does come at a cost. If Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back" is your personal Mantra, well Matey you might want to consult your map because you will find no booty, just a sunken treasure chest. I'm 5'6" and weigh between ***lbs, I do jog 5.- I am in no hurry to lose weight and I pretty much eat what I want, when I want. By no means am I "skinny" and there is a little extra lovin to be had :) Oh and if you don't like tattoos I'm not the chick for you, I have quite a few and plan on adding to what I already have. Just because I have tattoos doesn't mean I'm a slut, FYI, I do not have a lower back tattoo, better known as the "Tramp Stamp", it also doesn't mean that I was, am, or ever will be a stripper (not a very good dancer). I think tattoos are a great way to express oneself, they can tell a story, tell someone about who you are and what you stand for. On a side note I have huge hands, I have a good ratio of my hands being the same size if not larger than a guys, yes it can be a little masculating for the guy, but I am sure to get you the perfect fitting pair of gloves. As you can see I'm pretty open about myself and my thoughts. I'm looking to meet new people and just see where things go, I used to be one of those people that plan their future, but now I just take things day by day and if things are meant to be they will be :) I'm looking to meet someone with similar interests. Also someone that lives fairly close, if you live out of state or more than 45 minutes away I'm sorry but I don't see how starting any type of relationship would work. I don't get the whole "Meet Me" thing, if you wanted to get to know me and potentially meet me, why not just send me a message? Some place where we can talk and get to know each other a little bit better and see if there is a connection. Meet for coffee to keep it casual, if things go well can extend it to dinner. Follow that up with maybe some bowling or mini golf, something fun. I'm willing to try most anything, within reason :)
