Well I used to be an island girl, so in the summer I enjoy the outdoors and what the beautiful west coast has to offer...hiking, going to the beach, boating, camping, boarding and of course time with friends. I am a very social person so severe home bodies or people who need constant babysitting in social situations need not apply. Balance is the key to life so I am not one extreme or the other when it comes to staying in or going out all the time, as long as both are involved I am happy. I love trying new adventures, sports, and of course new foods. Ideally I would like to meet someone who is athletic to a degree but not overly obsessed where effects the fun that we could have. Being a self employed in Internet Marketing for a number of years I do need someone who has a passion for what they do and don't constantly complain about how bad their day was at work. If you don't enjoy it then get out and try something else...I truly feel it's that simple. I feel very blessed for the life that has been given to me and try to live with no regrets. Spontaneity is also kind of a way of life and it would be great to meet someone with the same quality. A person who can keep up with me would be great and it's worth it, but great appreciate goes to someone who can push me too. Again...balance.Must haves in a guy:-who makes me smile and laugh everyday regardless of the situation going on in our lives.-is not afraid to pick up the phone to hear my voice rather than text. -who loves to cuddle and show his affection. -who loves dogs and will treat mine like it is his own. -I can go out and have fun with even when we are both feeling lazy. -who surprises me from time to time with whatever charm he has hidden away. -who loves to travel and would love experience the world with me.-who accepts that I smoke in my own time and realize it's not a forever thing but if you hate it then understandably move on. -who needs his personal time and in return gives me mine with no questions asked because trust is the biggest key to a successful relationship. Just a simple date over a coffee or drinks is fine to preliminarily get to know one another. If that goes well then the second date will be more interesting.

So many times a profile starts with "where should i begin? Oh i know! The beginning!" I am not a fan of living in the past and would much prefer to focus on my future. Which could involve you! So pay attention ; But then we learned to share... So the only accent I have is when I accidently hold my shift key down and my computer starts writing in French :S I love talking history and learning about Britian and learning all I can about the country that I come from as it really is very fascinating. And better than most soap operas today! And a girl needs her drama, even if it is vicariously! When I was younger I grew up wanting to be a firetruck. I was amused by the lights and sirens and wanted to be just as cool. Then I saw my first TV commercial and it was for the DeVry *** a gigantic lightbulb and I had to go there and become a lightbulb! My parents always taught me to have a backup plan so, in realizing how crazy my ambitions were, I ended up with a degree at the U of A in psychology. I love my education, I love applying it and I love learning more about it. I am a single mom who is looking forward to sharing my independance with someone. I love my son and he will always come first, no matter what activity or project or hug or cuddle he needs. But as he's getting older it's time to focus a little more on me! I'm not clingy, i'm passionate. I'm not dramatic, I'm outgoing. I'm not demanding, i'm feisty. I'm not shallow, i'm confident. And I really love the thesaurus I got for Christmas ;) My son is turning 10 and he has a father in his life. I'm looking for someone for me. Someone who can keep up and slow me down. Someone who doesn't mind that I can't drop my life at any given moment but will give you my world when I can. I am fiercely loyal and love committment but don't mind casually working my way to that path. I am an intense football fan. I am passionate while watching and very much into the games. So please check your embarrassment and shame at the front gate if you come with me ;) If you're not passionate about sports and/or a team, you're missin' out! If you need me, you can find me dancing along the sidelines at my son's games, unapologetically being one of those "football moms," which is getting better as my son has informed me that now that i play the game, I may occasionally be "right" when yelling from the sidelines! I read. A lot. You can always find me curled up in front of my fireplace or stretched out on my patio, lost in the world of literature. Fiction, non-fiction, i'm a fan of it all. Inspire me to find a new author or subject to get lost in...I dare you! anything that would allow us to talk!
