MY SELF SUMMARyI love laughter in all its forms! I love making people laugh and someone who can make me laugh. I am relatively intelligent and can carry on a meaningful conversation. I enjoy sharing a crossword or Sudoko puzzle with someone special. Beware though… I am quite competitive! I care deeply about other people’s feelings. I am sensitive and protective of those I love and those who are in a vulnerable situation. I can’t stand a bully, and may jump in to help someone who needs it. I am a romantic. I love being touched and vice versa, thoughtful surprises and curling up in front of a fireplace. I am someone who will search for a meaningful gift for the special people in my life …nothing generic will do! I love spontaneity and would love being surprised with a unique adventure.     I am at a point where I would like to find the man who will be part of my life until eternity. What's wrong? Well...nothing is wrong...I just don't feel it's a good choice to just settle...so to speak...I am looking for a feeling...for me...and for him....mutual....we'll know it when we feel it.... I really am pretty easy going, so a first date could be just about anything. Just about, I said...Skydiving would not work for me but most anything else would be fine.     I have been widowed for over 4 years. With both of my children grown now, I am ready to begin a new chapter in my life. I enjoy spending time outside, walking in the park, picnics, and drinking coffee in the early morning listening to the birds before heading to work. Yard work or small garden are fun too. Just don't want it to be work. Spending time with that someone special is very important. Things as simple as cooking dinner together or exploring new places are equally important. The roads less traveled definitely have an appeal to me. The small quaint towns with the local flavor are absolutely fascinating. I like to read, sew occasionally, cook, and spend time with my 6 year granddaughter. I enjoy traveling to the beaches and the mountains. Both have a wonderful appeal to me. Nothing has ever been more appealing than cruises. It has been years since I have ridden a motorcycle, but I think I would enjoy that again, especially for day trips. I like the 70s music and the love songs. You can definitely mix a small amount of country and contemporary Christian in there too.I am a very positive person and like to share a smile with everyone. When I leave the room, I want people to know I care about them. I am thinking about volunteering more and helping others. I am a Christian and currently help serve through the hunger room at my church. My relationship with God is very important to me. It doesn't matter who I please if I am not pleasing my LORD. You only have once to make a first impression. The first date should be somewhere that both feel very comfortable that allows you to share with each other. Most of the time, you will know if you would like there to be a second date. A lunch date, dinner date or meeting for coffee is a nice start. A casual setting usually allows people to see the real you.
