I'm a empty nester who works hard and plays that way as well! I spend very little time at the computer and unlike the latest generation, my words per minute at the smart phone keyboard would not win me any awards; so don't expect fast responses to *** texts! :) I love culture, learning, and driving (as in golf)! I can't really claim I like to golf, because I've actually never made it past the driving range.... I love making memories, love to laugh, and I especially love doing both with my family.....not very easy to fit me into a box; I'm a shape shifter. ;) But that's not to say I don't have my values, and convictions on certain issues...Oh contrare', I can debate with the best of them and in the end (despite my passion), can and respectfully appreciate others opinions and views. I believe respect is the key to long term relationships whether as friends, partners, parents, children, or spouses. Emotional love may eb and flow, but respect, when constant, serves as a foundation...Like most women, just when you think you've figured out what I want, it'll change. I'm flexible in my thinking, yet committed to my beliefs. Or whatever planet is in between? I don't like to waste hours of my time shopping, cooking is not my forte (although I'm getting into healthy cooking a bit lately and really do like doing it with a partner), and I'd much rather take on the challenge of finding things myself versus asking for help. :) On the other hand, I like having my door opened, I admit to a time or two of saying "what are you thinking?", I like feeling attractive and getting dressed up, and I LOVE SHOES! I like riding a new trail and ending up in a completely different area than I had intended. I like horse camping with friends, homemade ice cream, summer evening bike rides, a hike in the foothills, and family stories. I've learned life is too short to sweat the small stuff and I choose to enjoy all the blessings life has to offer. I suppose I should also mention that while I am extremely flattered by flirts and *** interesting and attractive potentials from all over the country, the reality is (in most cases) my family makes out of state relocation a fairly limited possibility. AND, I'm the worst pen pal ever.... Typically I'm t this site from my phone. So on that note, I'm off and running......Happy trails!, people watching downtown, or any other new and exciting venture that allows for both entertainment and conversation. BSU football game either live or at a pub. Shakespeare Festival, little league baseball game (if you know someone playing), bike ride, or grocery shopping for your last minute trip out of town. :) Anything can be made interesting and fun with the right person....

I am looking to meet a like minded guy. I love travelling, going to the movies, dinner. I really am looking to meet someone who can challenge me both intellectually as well as physically. I guess my friends would say I am outgoing, spontaneous, kind, sincere, and quick witted. Well, this isn't something I ever envisioned myself doing, but is probably something all of us at this age using an internet dating web-site have in common. Lol. Don't really know what to say about myself, but here goes. I believe I am a positive, honest person with integrity. I am a firm believer in treating others in a way you would want yourself to be treated. I'm stable and responsible, both financially and emotionally. Drama is something I don't care to participate in--life is dramatic enough without creating any more. I'm a very laid- (Get over it!!! Lol.)I do like many of the amenities city life has to offer and feel comfortable dressing up and going out, but have to say I prefer outdoor life. As far as some of my personal tastes: I like classic rock music, but enjoy listening to any type of music live. I love going to live sporting events of most any kind. I love wine and beer tasting, and trying different cuisine. As far as my sense of humor is concerned, I'm just kind of a sarcastic smart-ass,(oh, did I say that?). I can dish it out, but I can definitely take it! Lol.I am an awesome cook, and love cooking for and spoiling my man. I believe in spoiling my man in every way.I may be in my fifties (blah), but have been told I look ten years younger, and I am still a kid at heart. Age is only relative to how you view it, and I don't intend to ever get old. I like fun and adventure, and would love to find someone who just enjoys life!!! There's definitely a difference between a first meeting and a first date. For a first encounter I think going for a coffee, or a drink is good. Preferably somewhere with a quieter atmosphere, where you can hold a conversation. For a first date, it depends on how the first meeting went, and what the other person's interests are.......just spending some time getting to know one another.
