Hi! I am a caring, loving and independent woman that would love to meet an honest and sincere man that shares similar values, goals and dreams. Now that my children have grown up and live away from home I have time to discover other things that life has to offer and although I enjoy time alone; reading, going to the gym or yoga, somethings are better shared with a loving and "comfortable" partner. I can be serious, passionate and committed when that is necessary; but I also have a fun, silly side with a great sense of humor. I enjoy everything nature related: the sound of water, be it the roar of the ocean or the flow of a river to the many sounds of a lake; also the stillness of the woods, the crackle of a fire..I would enjoy quiet times with my man; a walk in the moonlight holding hands or an intimate dinner (I'am a great cook I'am told) with candlelight and the fire crackling on a winter day or camping in a beautiful spot. I also love excitement and adventure... I would love to travel more and experience some of the wonderful places in this world. I think this time of year, coming on spring it would be nice to have a coffee in a quaint little coffee shop and perhaps listen to the music playing there and then going for a walk around the little town.

Hi ! I'm here, and that's a start :) I love to laugh and I def have a warped sense of humor at times. Having just turned 55 threw me a little bit because I don't feel like 55 and I KNOW I don't act it...but it is what it is ......and it's allllllllll good. Nothing like NYC during Christmas! Ipic movies theatres, farmers markets, yard sales, fishing and "quiet time" are my favorite things to do. I'm looking for a kind man, with a good sense of humor. A man that will respect me, as i will respect him........and most of all......be honest and true blue. First dates can be intimidating, so I like to meet in the daytime...over coffee or lunch. What can I say about myself.... I love sports, especially hockey. Go Habs Go! I enjoy board games, crib, pool, bowling and many other activities such as dancing, walking along the waterfront, beaches and parks. I'm pretty much what you see. My first "breaking the ice" date, as I will call it, would most definitely be in a public place. A coffee shop or at a restaurant. Most likely somewhere we both would feel comfortable. I'm up for other suggestions as well. Once we "break the ice" and we mutually agree to a second date, then probably a movie, dinner date or whatever we decide. I'm pretty flexible.
