-mate to share the rest of their life with?!? Just sayin'.!!. :/ Are there any men out there who aren't glued to their motorcycles or fish ***..?!?! Honesty, Trust, and Respect all go hand in hand and I feel are mandatory when it comes to what I believe makes for a healthy and loving relationship. having just stated that, please be sure that your understanding of the definition of "honesty, trust and respect" I am seeking someone who is stable, both financially, and emotionally... who values inner beauty as much as the skin someone is in. I can be spontaneous and playful, or very regal when need be.. did a few military formals in my day. I'm very passionate about everything I do, and yes, I really am 5'10" and I WILL wear 3-4" heels.. or cowboy boots..or cute sandals.. many facets.. *MUSIC*~ I LOVE to dance! I don't have to go OUT to dance on a regular basis.. it has more to do with when there's good music, do you FEEL it? You don't have to be the best dancer on the floor, just as long as you ENJOY dancing.. because I like to dance anywhere, anytime. "Good music"~ I'm 'old skool' R&. my father was a musician and college vocal ***, so I was raised with a lot of genres of music. I can dance to anything, but not a fan of rap, heavy metal, or rock-n-roll.. or motorcycles...just making sure you're actually reading my profile word for word.. ;) I have seen bad motorcycle accidents and had a third degree burn on the inside of my calf muscle, because I trusted the guy who said his bike "balanced itself", and then laid it into my leg.. uh huh..>:/ I'm just not into eating bugs, wearing black leather in 95 degree weather with matching humidity, and having my face skin look like leather.. I'd rather be on a boat, because for one thing, I can slather on suntan lotion, AND, I can jump off and not get my knees and elbows scraped up..SORRY if I offend anyone, but some people don't love dancing either..so, to each his own. ;)I feel music is what makes our souls dance, and everyone's souls have different tastes... what I "FEEL", may not be the same to you, and that's fine, but I am wanting a partner that the majority of our taste is the same language. To me, genres of music are like a second language, in many ways. I think you're happiest being with someone who speaks the same language. If you were wearing a Guns and Roses t-shirt, versus one with Bob Marley, I don't care if you were the most handsome, educated, wealthiest man on earth, I know that I don't like the music that YOU do. My "soul" loves soulful music.. it has to do with the beat/cadence/groove/pulse...a syncopated drum beat that makes my soul happiest. I DO say what I think, but I am tactful and try to stay classy and courteous. I'm just trying to be very real about this, because I'm not looking for free meals or casual sex... I'm looking for a man who appreciates a real woman, a corn fed rib-eye grilled medium rare, a good bottle of red wine, and dark chocolates..(in my dreams..haha)...but seriously, I want a man who values INTEGRITY and realizes how rewarding a relationship can be by investing in it 100%. I do believe the eyes are the windows to the soul.. I don't just believe it, I rely on it. I would date someone with kids, but obviously at my age, I'm not going to give birth to anymore babies, so if you have teenagers and/or grand-kids, GREAT..!!.. I love children of all ages and get along with them wonderfully.. I just wanted to clarify my selection about children. I feel very strongly about the following: If you were born in the United States, you're "American", and your "race", is "HUMAN". We're all "mixed". If you truly believe in "liberty and justice for all", then we're on the same sheet of music..if not, I'm probably too liberal for you. "Treat people the way YOU want to be treated.." "to each his own.. live and let live...".. "You can't tell the color of a man, by his footprints in the sand"~ myself~ There are no "footprints in the sand" left by some of the men and women who have made sacrifices for our freedom. (Hooah!) If you would choose to answer that "burning books" is worse than burning this country's flag, or you KNOW that you're racist/prejudice... or maybe you don't realize that you are, but if you use derogatory terms like: "faggot, queer, homo, wetbacks, the "N" word..even if you ARE black, please pass me by! If I have piqued your interest and intellect, let me know..     I'm beginning to wonder if this is ever going to work, but where else do you meet someone when you are in an elementary school all day and don't frequent bars?... I am a special education teacher. Love my job. I am also an outdoors person... do not like to be stuck inside. I love the beach, as much as the woods, camping (I graduated from a tent long ago), hiking, traveling, having a beer at a little dive near the water, riding my Harley ( but I do not fall into the "Harley chick" category). I consider myself low maintenance-- I don't dye my hair and I hate to shop. I am comfortable with who I am--meaning- I try to be the best me I can. Have been a special education teacher for 15 years and love teaching. There is a special place in my heart for children with special needs. Laughter and a sense of humor are very important to me-- they have steered me through many a difficult situation.Raised three boys (pretty much alone - now do you see why my hair is this color? LOL!). Two who are Air Force-needless to say I am very patriotic. Support our military men and women, but I don't do politics. I do not need a man to take care of me-I own my own home, car and have a good job, however, I would love a man to share life with. I have a lot to give to the right person. I understand the balance of having a solid relationship and still maintaining your independence. I have edited my profile a couple times, but now I realize the person who will compliment my life is out there, somewhere. If it is meant to be on here, he will find me.PS: If you say you want a relationship, but don't have the time to devote to building it, then I am not the woman for you. I'm not asking you to give up your freedom, independence, house, friends.     HI! Ok about me....Well I love spending time with family and friends,very important to me. I am very close with all my children, even though they are all pretty much on there own. I have a 12 year old daughter at home yet who came along a little later in life then the rest.
