Hello! I am employed and I enjoy my job..., most of the time. I try to keep things pretty simple with a positive attitude on life..., and always try to live by the Golden Rule. I am Spiritual and belong to a fellowship. In the summer you would find me on the beach with my girlfriends...in the winter I am happiest with snow on the ground...or looking for it in the mountains. I prefer being outdoors. Traveling is part of me, German Father and Guyanese Mother saw to that...now I would like to try for more of Europe, maybe Thailand. I have a cousin living there for the next few years. Life for me is simple and I avoid drama at all cost. I never had children but have been blessed to have had and have many of them as a constant in my life ... I'm not sure how it happened...but my life has been full because of them! I believe that I am perfectly imperfect and my friends tell me that I am a Good Listener, Respectful, Trustworthy, Understanding, Funny, Curious and Infectiously Happy. I believe a healthy relationship is being able to show your feelings, all of them..and..I believe in the three C's, Conversation, Compassion and Compromise. I'm adventurous and still a bit of a thrill seeker, I like to drive fast ;). Although, I am at the time of my life where it just takes takes a bit longer to recover. My search is about a desire, not a need. What is most important to me is about sharing our hopes and dreams together..., being supportive to each other & cherish our lives where we can achieve our goals with endless possibilities. A partner that can give freely of themselves, and appreciates the same in return. I believe we should be both students and teachers so we both can learn from each other and other's in our lives. I am looking for someone who is realistic and down to earth and wants to live a wonderful life. It's not about what you have or don't have, it's what is in your heart and how you treat others that will show who you really are. And yes, let's be honest, chemistry is important to everyone and we all have our taste..., prefer athletic average or a little husky types. I know what I appreciate and also know what I don't want. Life is to short for Games, and it just becomes to disheartening. It's not what we get out of the relationship that counts... it is what we bring into it that gives it life. I know we are not all perfect, we are human and desire that Special Someone. FAITH, HOPE and LOVE..., But The Greatest Of These Is LOVE. As for likes and dislikes...practically everything is in the like column except dancing...I was not blessed with rhythm...I will always give it a shot though, not to proud to give it a shake! I love most music, ...and I enjoy singing too...although, once again, was not blessed in that area either. I'm down to earth and easy to get along with. I believe for any relationship to work there has to be trust, communication and honesty. When it comes to trust some people believe it has to be earned, others give it freely until the person gives them a reason not to. That's me. I trust unless I see a reason not to. I might be wrong but I think those who believe trust has to be earned is because someone has hurt them in the past and it is not right to take that into the next relationship and give that person a hard time because of what someone did to them in the past. I went through that in my last relationship and it was so unfair. I never want to go through that again.I like going for walks or drives outside the city.; any place near the water. I like flea markets, yard sales and even fruit and veggie stands. I like going out to eat occasionally or going to see a movie or both lol. I even like drive in's but tend to fall asleep before the movie is over, lol. If you want to know more please ask.I work Monday to Friday with weekends off.I'm not into parties and crowds. I don't drink, smoke or do drugs although I don't mind if someone is a social drinker as long as they do not drink excessively & although I prefer to date a non smoker, I would consider dating a man who smokes, all in good time, if he had decent morals and treated me with respect. Dating someone who does drugs, except those prescribed by a doctor is out of the question so if you do drugs please don't waste your time sending me a message. I like one on one or getting together with a few close friends or family.I'm not looking to rush into a relationship. The friendship may develope into a relationship in due time, only time will tell.
