About Me

Somewhere out there is a great guy who will not only put up with my wacky moods, but he may even think they are cute, (even if he won’t admit it.) The man I would like to meet is gentle and understanding, passionate and affectionate, loving and a romantic. Someone who doesn’t mind being around family and friends. As all our world’s can be somewhat busy, I want someone who can’t wait to be together at the end of a day and no matter what the day’s bring, is always thinking about “US”. I want a guy who is proud to be with his women and isn’t afraid to show it. A guy who can make me feel safe and warm. A guy who is down to earth, open and honest. Looking for my loyal best friend who is loving and committed to his women. If you are married and looking for a fling or looking for free sex…… Please move on. (will cost you at least $10,000.***lol) You should message me if: you believe in love and romance (aka you’re a total, ****ing hopeless romantic too). you think that your life is better when shared with someone, and you’re ready to find that someone now-ish. you’re as likely (and as happy) to spend Saturday doing nothing in bed as you are to be enjoying the outdoors, or working on chores together, but no matter what you do, your always thinking about us. Facts: Realists? For real; Straight Up Honesty? Absolutely a must About me: Likes: my birds, my cat, laughter, my laptop, my kayak, fishing, the treadmill, honesty, music, curiosity, leisurely walks, foodgasms, kisses, oysters, dancing, coffee and lattes, road trips, spooning, jeans, vodka sea breezes, cuddling, the sunset, leisurely drives, Chinese checkers, concerts and live bands, boating, cooking and sharing the kitchen, faithful people, my daughter and her two kids (yes, I’m the cool grandma), skim milk, my sister, and kindness, lots of kindness! Dislikes: calories, mornings (unless your there), bugs, dishonesty, eye rolls, tactlessness, dirty dishes, the price of gas, men who hide behind sun glasses, womanizers, liars, politicians, being alone (unless I’m in one of those wacky moods that you will think is just so cute); (and more…lol) I’m open to friendships; (because it’s fun to meet new people), but know that I am dating with an eye for the long term (because as a hopeless romantic, REAL! relationships are more fun). What’s your story? I’m open to friendships; (because it’s fun to meet new people), but know that I am dating with an eye for the long term (because as a hopeless romantic, REAL! relationships are more fun).

Looking for: man. In age: 49-59

I'm a 40-something (*see update below) that doesn't feel much older than 30...I play my music too loud (according to my kids), drive a little too fast...and make my coffee a little too strong. I don't have a specific age range in mind, but I do listen to current music (yes, that includes rap, alt. rock, etc. - country, not so much) and still like to go out (occasionally) to a club/bar and dance. I especially like some of the live music outdoor concerts in the summer. (Actually, almost ANY summertime outdoor activity - bonus points if it includes water!)Basically, I'm a happy person and can't go too long without a good laugh...I tend to believe the best in people (until they prove me wrong)and am easy-going to a point (the Sicilian side can be brought to the surface when necessary!) I've lived in Central NY for many years so the LI accent is almost gone! Loved raising my kids in a small town...but it's not so great for meeting people.PS - I try to answer *** the 'looking for intimate encounter' category...responding to messages will block you from talking to some people...also, prefer an *** introduction rather than IMing...like to 'know' who I'm talking to!*UPDATE: Guess I'm not a 40-something anymore *SOB*...but I'm sticking to the rest of the description...ok maybe I feel more like 31 now haha. Nothing unique here - I think a good first date would be meeting for coffee. Maybe some quiet place for a drink if all goes well! Someplace conducive to some talking would be good. Usually it's apparent fairly quickly if there's any chemistry.

I like going to movies and watching them at home as well. I dabble in crafts and scrapbooking. I love to ride my bicycle out in the country where it's quiet. It gives me time to think. I like people who make me laugh which is why I love spending time with my (almost grown, ages 18 and ***sons. They both make me laugh until I feel sick to my stomach (a good thing in my world). I am told I am funny. Sometimes my humor is a little dark and sarcastic. People with whom I am comfortable "get me" and understand my sense of humor.Despite my fun side I am also very sentimental. A sad song or movie will get me every time.My taste in music is anything that makes my toe tap. It can be pop, rock, country, etc., if it's fun I like it. I also like love songs but they have to be meaningful to me. My boys are forcing me to listen to their music when we ride together somewhere, and I'm starting to like some of it.I just bought a house, and it needs a lot of work, so I spend a large amount of time working on it or planning the next project. However, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I like working in the yard, cutting the grass, planting flowers, etc.I hate, hate, HATE spiders. So I spend a good portion of my paycheck at Home Depot buying Ortho. A girl with a spider phobia should probably not buy an old house surrounded by trees. Found that out a little too late. I recently adopted a puppy. He is currently training me to run around after him screaming "NO!" I am coming along well with that. I might want to talk to you for a while before meeting, but...
