About Me

One thing I am most passionate about is living this life to its fullest. I don't intend to take my last breath having regrets about the things that I wanted to do but was too afraid to try, or didn't have the energy, or was told it was impossible. Life is really very short. If there's something you want to do, just do it. One of the more important things I am looking for in a person is integrity--someone who has a desire to do the right thing, not just for fear of getting caught or in trouble. But someone who truly knows the difference between right and wrong and tries their best to apply this in their daily life.I feel very blessed in many ways. I have had the good fortune to go to college, and my job is most often very gratifying. I have great, young adult children who are pretty independent at this point. I have been able to travel and see the world a bit, and I was raised to believe that nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it. I feel as though I've reached a point where I am ready for a lifelong, committed relationship. My goal is to find someone with whom I can share mutual love and respect that will last a lifetime. I love to travel and explore, and try to visit new places (either locally or far away) as often as possible. I enjoy art, music and live shows. I recently joined an improv comedy group, and dabble a bit on stage. I recently began weight training because it's quick and easy. I try to keep myself healthy and fit. I would say that I don't spend a great deal of 'down time' sitting still, but I do appreciate the occasional Saturday night on the couch with a glass of wine and movie.
