Woman. 47 years old. Zodiac sign: Pisces.
Looking for: man. In age: 44-54
I guess I am running out of Redbox movies. I guess I will eventually have to start going out more. Wearing braces in my forties has not been fun. It is now July ***, and I have about six months left to wear them. I have felt a bit creepy, so I have been hanging out with my dogs at home.I am not sure what the general opinion of my decision to put up a swim suit picture is, although some have told me that it was a poor choice. It is the same type of suit that I wear at our neighborhood pool around my teenage son and his friends. He has never objected. I guess now that I have just turned 47, I feel that some may assume that I am not in good shape, I guess I feel the need to show that I take care of myself. I guess I feel that at this age, I should do what ever feels right to me, and really not be that concerned with the opinions of strangers. I do not typically wear low cut clothing, or dress inappropriately. I do try to behave like a lady.I spent eight years active duty Army, a long time ago. I did my leadership development with the 8th Infantry Division. We used to say, "improvise and overcome". I still hear those words today coming from inside myself. Our military are still very close to my heart. My political views are conservative. Although my teeth weren't terribly crooked, I did want to improve them to a full straight ten tooth smile. I am doing this for me. I am not sure men feel about a woman in clear braces. I do hope that there is someone special out there that can appreciate this journey that I am on. My teeth should be perfect in 18 months. I am a 47 yo, divorced (no baggage), emotionally happy female looking for a great guy to spend time with. I am a ro by nature. I have a great sense of humor. I love a good joke or funny movie. I am a strong lady who handles her own problems, so I don't "need" a man, I just want one. I hope that makes sense. I have one child, an 18 y.o. son. He spends about half of his time at my house. He has a great dad, who is involved in his life and not in mine. I would like to find a guy that makes me feel special. A good sense of humor and a playful personality are major pluses with me. Manners are also a must. If a guy makes me feel special, I enjoy spoiling him back. Chemistry and passion are also very important. I also love to cuddle and snuggle with that special guy. I am very loyal and trustworthy also. I have strong values that some might find old-fashioned, but it is still who I am. I guess I always pride myself on doing the right thing, even when it is difficult. I live a healthy lifestyle which includes eating right, exercising, and not smoking. I hope to find someone that shares that attitude. Additionally, I can't imagine responding to messages from those who do not care enough to post a pic. Does anyone really expect responses to profiles without faces? It is like talking to someone with the door closed. If you are not serious enough to post a pic, why should anyone share their *** go looking for your pic. It really sends the message that you are hiding something or from someone. Also, does "average" body really mean you have a significantly large belly and no muscle mass? Does anyone go to the gym today?? Really??Please realize that just because you post forty something for your age, most people can tell that you are ten years older when you are. Will everyone please stop lying....One last thing....if you don't want to see profiles that have only head shots, or only a baggy shirt, etc, then don't post one yourself. Seeing that you can wear a nice jacket to dinner is great, but some of us want a fitted tee shirt pic, jeans, etc. Pics that show that you are a guy who takes care of himself are nice. Women love hugging guys with nice arms and nice backs. I guess a perfect first date would have to be maybe dinner so that we could get to know each other. Then, at some point, we would be outside under the stars, maybe dancing or having a drink. The cool air is on my skin, and the chemistry is perfect. He holds me close and his lips brush mine. I get that nice tingly feeling and he kisses me again.

I love music of all kinds, mostly country and rock..My favorite song is "feels like the first time".. Anyway I could probably go on but Im gonna stop at that...Live life, love life...Love that saying...also if you are under the age of 35 don't messgae me,I wont message you back...I have found there are alot of immature punks only looking for one thing and you wont find that with me...sorry A romantic date for sure..Surprises are always good.I love a man who can always lead without having to be told what to do...I believe the romance in a relationship should never stop.I will treat a man the same way I expect to be treated..I love to cook for a man. They say a way to a mans heart is thru his stomach...I just love that saying.

I believe the real world is outside but here goes...Running is my passion but there's so much more for sharing. You’ll be fit and active and great if we do some of the same things but I’m not looking for a training partner so much as someone to partner time with after the workout is done.It would be great to have someone to share experiences and journey along with: road trips, movies out, quiet nights in, documentaries, silly quizzes, creating something in the kitchen that’s good mostly because there are two of us. It takes time to build something really strong but the work should be fun from the start.By "someone", I mean someone who is living a healthy lifestyle; kind and respectful, not just of people but of all our valued resources; educated (university or self) and definitely smart enough that it shines in a sense of humour and ability to take care of oneself. Someone who enjoys exploring a busy city as much as the serenity of the outdoors. A best friend to share mutual respect and support, and of course great chemistry.Friends say I'm a bit hard to get to know but well worth the wait. I enjoy conversation and coffee so Starbucks can feel like home. When I'm not out with friends, running, or cycling, I'm apt to be enjoying some quiet time on my own reading or just listening to music. I recently added an adorable little rescue dog to my single girl condo lifestyle so much of my quiet time is now with leash in hand. It’s making me wonder if there’s a country girl inside the proclaimed urbanite.I’ I have a spiritual side that looks for the meaning or at least for the lesson of things so I can be quite serious at times but certainly not without a sense of humour either. I enjoy (need) my downtime but am conversationally stimulated by things cerebral, and exploring (or finding humour in) the human condition. I live well, work hard, and train harder, but know how to spend a lazy afternoon and eat a burger too. It's my definition of balance. Open to hearing about yours.Should we consider taking this outside?
